Honestly dude if you think so little of a woman that you would describe her to us as a "fugly 4-6" and a "homely bitch" - those feelings are going to be written all over your face from the beginning. Women are possible the most intuitive and tuned-in creatures on Earth. They can sense bullshit. They can sense how you feel about them. Also the anger is going to be coming through. What I'm telling you is that everyone you interact with is going to be able to sense these things, in one way or anoth…

People choose to structure their lives from a higher plane of reality before they enter this one. So you, as a Higher Being, made a kind of rough road map or life plan for yourself, before you were even born. You, like others, pre-programmed rough patches into this life plan. Segments of life that would really kick your ass. Time when life would suck. These are setup to be great awakening periods for the mind, because the mind responds really, really well to pain, in terms of being shocked into …

Well, it sounds like you're choosing her life over your own, then. Not severing toxic bonds can actually lead a person to their death, so be careful if what I said rings true at all. You're in caretaker mode but sounds like you should be in survival mode. Best of luck to you man.

I'm 31 and live with her because we both need each other just to survive. Yeah, I think I see whats happening. I would guess you're part of an unhealthy, toxic/narcissistic family dynamic involving your mother. Being 31 and not having separated or individuated from your mother is a very bad sign. It may seem like comfort, but your relationship with her is probably most of whats killing you. I was in a similar spot and had to completely separate. Then I came alive, came back to life. Hope this he…

Maybe a therapist would be helpful. I'm just freestyling here.. but is it possible that your parents are toxic, and you're toxically enmeshed with them? e.g. you have not broken away from your parents, who keep you in a form of self-hating emotional bondage that you are numbed to as its all you know? You mentioned that your mother would be devastated. Sucks to prioritize someone else over yourself.

I'm not answering for DBigger, just my own thoughts. The proper narrative of female nature would have to be indistinct, variable, and amorphous because that's human nature: it encompasses many things. Whats the proper narrative of male nature? Oh, that would simply encompass the whole of philosophy, psychology, history, etc. etc. The more profounder and truer answer is in this case more vague and less mentally satisfying. The simpler narrative is incorrect, it explains a subset of cases as being…

I'm not sure if you'll grant this as a narrative, but there is: Make some friends. Meet women through your friends/work/hobbies. If you are a part of society, some women will express interest. Escalate following their cues. Have sex. That model works for a lot of people, imo. Maybe most, when you stack up the numbers of normal dudes vs redpill dudes.

Neediness is showing up at your house at 2 AM after a breakup, mascara running down her face. Independence is buying her own house in an adjoining neighborhood, and "going on a walk" at 2 AM to check up on you after a breakup. Home ownership, ladies. I can't stress how much you need to own your own home.

RedPill exists to get dudes out of Oneitis-based depression, and get some sexual experience. Once you're in a relationship, you have to become a lot more sophisticated and evolve a lot, bending and breaking most of the "rules" that are considered sacred on here. I'll share my thoughts on this... Look at how much "plowing" your doing: Call her out on how exciting we are and I pin her down and fuck her. She comes over, I kiss her but she makes no move to kiss me back. I don't react and just plow t…

Explore the anxiety. Sit with it. Amplify it. Absorb it. Look to understand the reasons behind it. Journal about it. It will be with you as long as it needs to be, to teach you the lessons it wants to teach you. (Yes, there is a lot that anxiety can teach, the purpose of life isn't always to bang-smash and move on). Good luck.

You're doing great. Please don't get sucked into the vortex of faux hyper-masculine pretense that emanates from the black heart of this sub (at times). Our humanity is a touchstone in relationships, and being human is empowering in real (non-dysfunctional) relationships. Keep that in mind. This was not at all pussy: "Understood. We got carried away. I just wanted to have adventures and keep getting to know you, so I went along with the flow. I'm not really a party animal, but I was enjoying time…

Why does dancing inspire genuine fear in me? My opinion... Western culture over the last 500 years veered very sharply off in the direction of mental development, mental-based viewpoints, abstract thought. Our cultural norms exist to cultivate states of mental abstraction and objectivity. We have quite a 'scientific' culture, at its core. Furthermore we have a sea change going on in the emotions of the people, which has been happening for 100 years. The sea change relates to deepening emotional …

Dude you're fine. Everything was done well. Nice banter, it was light but sincere. You didn't rant or say weird shit, you went in on interesting threads, she was eating it up. Her logistics were all fvcked. She was not available. At some point in the future, you can start screening out girls who have all these magical plans going on - these convoluted traveling plans and stuff. Every human interaction is "manipulation." When you smile at your boss instead of telling him to shove that memo where the sun doesn't shine, that's manipulation; is it wrong, though? Well, we are all trying to move along a gradient from more forced, inauthentic, stereotyped, repressive, reaction-based behaviors, towards more free, authentic, unique, expressive, response-based behaviors. You seem to want to dismiss the validity of this progression, claiming oh its useless, all interaction is man…

You haven't yet developed enough as a person on your own for a relationship to make sense. You can still have one, of course, and you are. But the problem arises. Right now you can subconsciously sense all the interesting life experiences and individuating experiences that are beckoning you beyond the safety of your relationship - I'm not even talking about hookups, I'm talking about doing random different life activities on your own to figure out who you are. You haven't emerged from your shell…

You can't control the other person, you can only control yourself. Everyone who is unhappy in relationships, is doing what you're doing right now. They're sitting their, full of grievances and resentment, thinking about what the other person "should" be doing. The only proactive thing you can do, short of exiting this relationship, is to step up and give a little, to get a little. Invest more. Give more. Stand up for your woman. If you keep doing that, then, and nothing changes... that's a diffe…

She's told you what her needs are. She'd just argue about how I never really hang out with her and that I'd rather hang out with my friends, that I don't take her on dates as frequently as I go out with my friends or anything etc. When you're in a relationship with someone, its a really good idea to listen to what the other person says, and actually go the distance to meet their needs. Where do you draw the line? You become able to draw the line once you can accurately gauge how earnestly appreciative the woman is. The point of all this stuff is not 'to get the girl'. The point of things is to screen for the right woman. Self-disclosure is a screening mechanism. Let's say you tell her you love X kind of movies. She isn't particularly interested in that, and goes a bit cold. Great! Guess what? We just learned something about each other! We don't really gel that well. You could …

I don't feel like I enjoy much of anything anymore. Well, your flow of vital energy is at an all time low, if this is true. You won't be excited about anything, you won't be going anyplace cool, you won't be doing anything dynamic. So you won't have a lot to offer to people. Other people can't solve what ails you. I'm a 31 year old virgin who has only kissed one girl. This seems like a huge deal to you but its honestly irrelevant. If you can get into a groove and find a girl you gel with, you'll…

Trying to know yourself and understand your mind. Trying to understand who your heroes are, who you admire. Trying to understand what your ideals are. Do you believe in Love, Justice, Truth, etc? Its simply a question of having the presence of mind to restrain your own enthusiasm when meeting an attractive person of the opposite sex, by keeping in mind the question: is this person as interested in me as I am in them? And if not, ducking out. Many will find this impossible to do, when entranced by the view of a pretty face and body. Once you've engaged a woman and made the initial steps to get to know her in conversation, you've made yourself available. You've built the bridge. You've ope…

There's nothing you can do. Absorb the suckiness of being in a relationship with someone who doesn't care enough to detach herself from random male attention. Feel how much it sucks. Take it in. I'd love to give you some proactive spiel but it sounds like we're discovering a fundamental weakness in your relationship. Its like figuring out someone bought a house with water seeping into the basement. Beyond that, try to not let it bother you.

At this point in my life, a woman without the sexual self-confidence to clearly signal interest to me, is not someone I could get involved with. It would not be a match. So, that gives me the luxury that I can rely on really clear signals of interest. With younger women its more muddled, with older women everything becomes a lot clearer. Chasing grey-zone chicks is not something I believe in.

I get that. But you can lean on my viewpoint and keep it in mind while you move towards those experiences. You haven't had certain experiences, the same is true for many, many dudes. I'm saying don't make it a bigger thing than it is. That itself will delay the likelihood of it coming about.

The quote is garbage and was probably written by a college senior with 4 lays, amped up on endorphins because it was 'leg day'. Buyer beware. The other person in a relationship has to want you. That's it. If power dynamics are such a big part of your budding relationship, as this quote seems to indicate, well, I don't think there's any advice that's really going to help you. Power-based relationships are negative, dysfunctional relationships. If you're with a woman who is scheming to get or wiel…

I don't think its a shit-test. I think she is asking you to compliment her on her body, or tell her that you like her body. I'm serious. It looks like this. She sees you as desirable. She knows she is a bit bigger. She wants to know that you like girls with her body type. So she says "what type of body type do you like?". To me its also implied: "I really hope its mine." When i try to do this second idea, i don't get anywhere. I just feel a 'block'. I can't really access the idea, it just feels empty of content or like a locked door. Right. I think you're facing one of the hardest truths of reality: that we are seeking to date people who also have full free will. Why is it hard? Because you're young (I'm assuming) and your opposite numbers rarely know what they want at this point, or how to express what they want, also they are in "explore the world" mode, and your own desires are going to be so strong that they'll challenge you to remain aware as dynamics unfold. So it'll be hard for you to see what I'm about to say, but I think w…

Do this exercise. Sit by yourself in a chair, and find a negative belief surrounding women. Such as: "I am inferior to women." Feel the feeling that arises from "I am inferior to women". Amplify the feeling as deeply as you can, until it reverberates even within your bones. Go deep into the feeling, make it bigger. Make this last for 2 minutes. If it hurts a bit, that's ok. Here's my viewpoint. I'd drop the word 'butthurt' from your vocabulary and never, ever use that word again. Its a 12 year old boy's word. You're hurt. Why are you hurt? All human beings get hurt. Spending time alone with yourself and feeling your feelings is one way to deal with them. If you feel sad, feel sad, if you feel angry, feel angry. It may be pangs of conscience, for a feeling that you are offering too little. Sometimes you look at what you're offering another person, and you look yourself in the mirror and think: "Is this the best I can do?". Sometimes we're really not offering that much, and that kinda sucks. Perhaps part of you wants to connect more deeply and have something more real and lasting, and it haunts you.

Its a good idea to first achieve a sense of personal power and identity before you can view another person as divine. It also means that one has to view oneself as divine, else the exchange is not fair. But before you can perceive yourself as divine, you have to perceive yourself as a capable, strong, worthwhile human being. Before you can perceive yourself as those things, you need to feel safe. I think for some of the people writing here and on TRP, their inability to connect with women - symbolized by the fact that no one wants to be physically intimate with them - is experienced as a great personal tragedy. So while one is ostensibly discussing a topic where facts matter, one may simultaneously be touching upon other people's deepest wounds, unawares. They are essentially begging for the establishment of a therapeutic context and a deeper feeling of safety before the issue of sexual …

I guess if the person is really deeply hurt over their own state of being.. then having it named by (presumed hostile) third parties is, as they say, "triggering". Even if the description is objectively correct in some sense. I get that. yeah.. I guess its a choice of how much combat you want to endure and participant in. People have a lot of drama. From a certain POV, anyone ranting about society ("men are...", "women are...") is also just a distressed person's drama. If you take that on, or put that out, it will hook you into more of it. You can just leave it alone and move towards people who are actually happy and then you will probably have more peace in your life. That's my strategy anyway. :D

Tyler Durden said that being vulnerable was actually the most high status thing a man could do. I like that advice a lot, its very golden.

It's honestly a damned if you do, damned if you don't in this sexual market place. It may be that you are carrying a large burden of shame surrounding sexuality - and this is reflected back to you as your (inordinate) interest in the opinions of 'feminists'. I assume these people are random, judgmental strangers on the internet who are authoring generalizations about other people's lives - not good. Feminists - whoever we are talking about - are not really safe people for you to interact with. Y…

I can't figure out why it would be. Maybe you have some bad karma or something that is keeping people away from you. You might have some kind of avoidance that you're broadcasting, but are not aware of. You know, like your vibe might be scaring people off kind of.

ok, ok, I'm taking all that in. But if a guy is average, or below average, don't average or below average women hit on him?

Most men really don't have women showing obvious signs of interest in them. Do you spend time around women? And in what venues? I guess I do have some advantages that most people don't have, I'll grant that. Looks are probably an advantage of mine. I think even more important is I have a lot of access because I deliberately put myself in social situations, which I'm not sure if other people are doing or not. I can't imagine being out in society and not seeing women interested in you. Most guys d…

I'm sorry nothing worked for you. That sucks! For me it was cutting ties with my parents (entirely, but the case was kind of extreme), getting into therapy, and building a group of friends. Also eating better (vegan and now mostly raw foods or fruits). I hope you can find the key, whatever it is that unlocks the door to better feelings for you. :)

Well, I guess I agree with you or see your pov on a lot of that. When you boil it down though this is basically bitching and complaining, though, right? I mean, its just complaining. I don't see the usefulness of that, I guess. Also because a woman has a bunch of desperate dudes flirting with her, I don't see how thats a great advantage. As far as women being the gatekeepers of sex, I can always turn down a girl who wants me, so in that regard I'm a gatekeeper as well. Seems balanced to me. It t…

Well, you're adding a new term to the discussion that I've never heard anywhere before: "starting sexual value". Men have just fine starting value. I had women interested in me when I was 16, a face-full of acne and an emotionally devastated loner. You guys will never succeed in bringing me over to this men-are-so-fucked-you-cant-even-understand-it mentality. I had mostly guy friends all my life plus have been one myself, listening to you tell me what the sexual marketplace is like, grinds my ge…

The process, venues of social interaction, is all tedious and uninteresting, but I've done it. Well that indicates to me that you don't really enjoy socializing. So I think that brings up the question, did you really find the right venue for you - if it was still 'tedious'? Its supposed to be fun, right? You will be hard pressed to explain ugly social men with great attitudes who never get any. Would you describe yourself as "having a great attitude"? It seems like from your view of how tedious …

A man cannot adjust his mindset into being an attractive person. I disagree. I think your mindset is what is causing you difficulties. Unlike on reddit, where generalizations rule, real life is all about specifics. You not experiencing female interest is because you don't put yourself out there in the appropriate venues for women to express interest in you. Also you pedestalizing me is not good. I think I'm very attractive but I've faced rejection a decent amount and the message of optimism I'm …

Well, if you believe you are ugly, its probably hard for you to see when women show an interest in you. It conflicts with your belief system. I don't think you're giving women a chance to show their interest, you're assuming it would never be shown, and not even testing the waters.

What's your hypothesis? That depression can't be cured? It can be. I cured my depression, many many people have dealt with their own depression using the means you described.

I thought I'd kick in some thoughts here. What's happened during my approaches is that a girl will give me her number and then when I go to text her, no response. I've got responses when I get numbers from my college classes, but they just think I want to study with them and if I show any interest they ghost. This is why its better to see if there is a connection prior to getting the digits. Its better to be in a place where you can see her consistently, where you can see if there's really a con…

Most men are average or ugly and must make up for that with money, attitude and other methods. I disagree. Seems like you have a low opinion of yourself and other men. I have a lot of male friends and I'm a dude myself, we all get hit on a decent amount without much trying. I don't feel that you speak for men in general or 'the majority of men' - you're talking about yourself. I could phone 10 friends of mine and we would probably all disagree with you for the most part. So how does that go with…

[Women] have innate sexual value. Men have none. This is a belief system that is socially conditioned. Women want to bone you and take you home, not realizing this is ignorance. Men have to figure out how to create it, then create it, then maintain it You just have to show yourself in public without broadcasting tremendous avoidance/aversion responses, and be open to women's expression of interest. But I would bet that this is impossible for you and many posting here. Not saying it as a diss, I …

They’re not aroused just by looking at an attractive man, they need A LOT more context. I saw another reddit user go to some length to disprove this. She was a woman, who said "I am physically attracted to men" e.g. without whatever additions are needed as 'context'. Apparently just looking at a man could turn her on.

It's not uncommon for a woman to choose to remain alone rather than be with a man who she does not find attactive. Isn't this true for everyone?
