Just using the Louisiana statistic because it’s most comparable to the US statistic I found.

If I’m understanding what I just read correctly, there are more maternal deaths in labour than by homicide, but homicide is more common than any single obstetric cause of death. So there were 17.4 maternal deaths for every 100,000 births in the US in 2018. Your source says that there were 12.9 homicides for every 100,000 pregnancies in Louisiana in 2017. When they say that homicide is a greater danger to women than any one obstetric danger, I’m guessing that 17.4 is being broken down into causes…

First of all, this is horrifying. I am just wondering if they are including deaths in labour (which vary a lot depending on country, socioeconomic status, age) into the equation as a “danger to pregnant women.” Are pregnant women more likely to be killed by their partner than by the process of labour?

If we lived in a world in which men no longer experienced sexual desire towards women, why would they be treated any differently than men? Why would they become "invisible" in society rather than simply existing as part of the system alongside men? Women exist in and contribute to society, in science, in business, in education, in healthcare. Losing the sexual attention of men would change nothing.

I am Asian and don’t hate Asian men. Would probably hate you, but that’s not a race thing.

Asian is a race, Indian is an ethnicity. Chinese is an ethnicity. Chinese and Indian fall under the umbrella of Asian.

I think all people are implicitly predisposed towards feeling victimized for whatever identity groups they choose to align themselves with. I don’t think reality has a red pill bias. Men feel disempowered for being men. Women feel disempowered for being women. Ethnic minorities feel disempowered for being minorities. Look at facts, not feelings. Where is the evidence to support this bias?

And you listed zero. I’m not going to link to every single post, go look for yourself.

Fair enough, many posts are directly attacking FDS women. However, just as many posts are commenting on all women. A recent post was address to “Literally all women aged 18-24”

My race has not impeded my dating life at all. If anything, I have to avoid fetishizers.

I don’t think any man thinks being raped would be sexy?

I don’t know whether or not that is true, but assuming it is I suspect it’s a result of unrealistic expectations of romance. I think women are societally conditioned to expect rom-com level romance throughout a LTR, and become disillusioned by the realities of everyday life with a partner.

According to the men of this sub, all the women who post here are disgustingly unattractive fat slobs. But suuuuuure women are the shallow ones.

It would perhaps be more apt to replace "feminist issues" with "gender inequality issues." I believe that those are one and the same, but I understand that many people do not agree with me. Men experience a lot of inequality in our society, which I believe ought to be encompassed by intersectional feminism. Feminists who fail to consider the inequality that men face are practicing a flawed feminism.

I'm here because I'm a feminist. I subscribe to other boards pertaining to this subject as well, but they do not always do a good job representing the feminist issues that affect men. Hence, the men's rights board.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
