1	Niceeeee I'm not an expert in this but there are different types of debt. Debt to creditors that can be sold to collections and written off affects your credit. The company has to write off your debt and sell the rights to it to a collections agency that will open an account on your SSN Child support and alimony debt are not typically sent to collections if you're behind.
