2	Making Your Relationship a Priority (and being scared as hell to do it) I often find myself thinking of what I can do to improve my SO's life in the short term. I want to instantly gratify him and feel the reward in that moment. Encouraging him to pursue his life goals can be an extension of that but I've found it to be a little more tricky.
