I’m in Ireland. It can be quite bad, especially men not being able to properly express themselves. My boyfriend is Latvian, it’s much worse there, and in other Eastern European countries. Men are expected to just take on all the workload and not suffer the consequences. My boyfriend is quite emotionally unavailable and can be a very angry person as a result. I’m trying my best to learn and understand so I can make life easier for him, as I’m quite emotional and sensitive

You don’t need to say “not all women” the good ones understand its not all women. I’m sorry they’re so rude to you unwarranted. I’ve found lots of women to be like that too, I struggle making friends with women because of this. But you’re right, men are human! And deserve (bare minimum) to be treated as such

I don’t understand how I’m not? I’m legitimately asking how I can best support men. You’re creating a false story for me here that I genuinely feel like I don’t deserve as all I tried to do was ask for advice. I have no reason to put anyone down. That’s understandable it’s everywhere, no matter who you are. I’m quite an emotional person so my emotions become overwhelming, I’m only learning now how to manage them, and in turn learning about others and their emotions and needs. It’s been a tough battle and tougher knowing some people have it harder than me, hence why I’m trying to understand and help.

I’m really just trying to ask how We can best support you. I struggle to identify emotions in others and sometimes I miss social cues. I’m an advocate for women so I thought I’d show my support for men (as I am also an advocate for men^ sorry realized I didn’t communicate that well) I don’t understand why this is a problem regardless of where I express said opinion. Seeing as this is a men’s rights community I presumed it would be the most appropriate place to ask
