I'm glad he is out of your life because he was getting worse. Don't worry because you WILL get a much better man sister. Imagine staying with that kind of heartless guy? Please look at this as a blessing and freedom from a bad future. Not everyone is compatible with each other, it's just how life is. Don't let the thought that you were the problem enter your mind, you did everything you could. He just couldn't handle it. I've had those thoughts before but because I just decided God was right, we…

Congrats on the baby! I like sewing, crochet and knitting. However just calligraphy is something I would do, or simple watercolors. Something abstract.

I read Mars/Venus and it helped me a bit. I don't go to a female to give me advice on men tbh. I ask my Dad.

I say thank God he's out of your life, he wasn't meant for you and he realized that first, now it's your turn to realize so much better is out there for you, someone who really matches you. I truly believe God takes people out of our lives for our own good. It sounds like the relationship was hard from the start and you were "needy" so you hung on to it too long. Let it go dear. You don't need to be his friend!

Olympic level, just how? I have no advice other than having your cake now will lead to no cake later. I doubt I get invited to her wedding...

I sewed my first dress years ago, using a free pattern from Burda.com. I mostly look at free resources and sew from what I want, altering patterns as I go. I have a Singer Simple machine and I wish I had a juki, but don’t have the expertise for that.

I see it as you have to become more feminine first to let him step into his masculine side. He needs room for that, like you need room to be feminine. Maybe the women in his life always lead, try to be but more passive or restrained in your way of communicating with him and your relationship even if it is really hard. Ask him what he wants instead of telling him what you want for example. Listening is always good. Just my two cents.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
