Artist? Of course not, I lack the fundamental understanding of science and mathematics to be considered an artist. Perhaps a designer, but certainly not an artist. I simply appreciate the work and foresight that goes into a masterpiece, but of course, I don't expect a miserable consumer who's too preoccupied with the pursuit of hedonism to understand such things. What is the red pill? A philosophy of consumerism. No wonder you're all such miseries, concerned with the exchange of sex as if a comm…

The red pill is just obsession with dick. The premise is "everything is about dick", and therefore women must revolve around it as much as they do. The concept of a woman being more complex than a primitive sexually driven animal tears the philosophy apart, and so it is better to dehumanise an entire gender to fit in with the agenda of "cock is life", which conveniently leads into "women are lesser because they don't have cocks". People who love their own cocks like to take the red pill seriousl…

Nothing in particular, I just find it funny that the red pill is about nothing but cock and why your cock is important and why everyone else thinks your cock is important. How could I not find it funny? Why am I supposed to give a fucking shit about cock? I've actually gone beyond the point where I could take the red pill seriously anymore, after reading the nonsense here and there.

Special? Ha! Don't make me laugh! My behaviour is far from unique, you delightfully shortsighted thing. And how I do adore the impressions of others, so wonderful and shallow. Truly, it speaks of the nature of mankind's superficial understanding of the world. A perfect reflection, the red pill. How outstandingly human. I will continue to keep an eye out for the adorably solipsistic red pill man, both in these forums and in the world around me. How I do delight in the delusion, particularly when …

This is something I've always found weird, the whole "makeup is deliberate deception" thing. I like makeup. I find it quite like painting and sculpting, both of which I really enjoy. I don't do it for anyone but myself and my own self image, because I have an absolute infatuation for expression, and for me, makeup falls under the same umbrella as art, literature and haute couture. Basically, I'm not actively trying to get anyone to like me and want to be with me. If that was the case, I would de…

I think most of the concern comes from the association with TRP. Even if you think the philosophy itself has some good ideas, the community there is generally considered as having an awful attitude towards women, and through that association most people will assume that this is somehow acceptable to RPW. Naturally, this will cause some concern. I know that isn't necessarily the case, but quite frankly that's what happens when you associate with any group that has a pronounced agenda. Aggressive …

I'm just mentioning why your sub has a bad name. The public face given is often angry and sour towards both men and other women, on top of having a name that openly associates with a group that notoriously attracts embittered men. If people think badly of RPW it's because of the way it's presented.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/14 09:06 PM

You can get banned for anything on RPW, which makes the community look awful. I was banned because I suggested a woman wear a scarf. It was hilarious but I instantly disregarded RPW as pedantic and unnecessarily aggressive because of it. I've also witnessed some pretty uncalled for anger towards the odd new poster for not knowing everything ever about RPW. If you all weren't so eagerly horrible to people I might have actually considered it.

I already have a partner and we're planning on getting married, and he dresses normally and doesn't have any tattoos. I also don't want and will never have casual sex. I'm not bothered about whether or not every guy is attracted to me, either. I like being and looking flamboyant and fabulous, and if some guy doesn't like a girl in fur coats and dresses with tattoos and pink hair that's really not that big of a deal to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/14 09:02 AM

Hm, well for me it's more deliberate. I just happen to like how I look with short pink hair and tattoos, and so do the people around me. Wouldn't say I was broken, though I will admit to having a few problems. But everyone has their own demons to overcome.

I assume everyone is horrible until proven otherwise. I'm usually delightfully wrong, though.

I think the red pill is presumptuous and attracts bad people.

I wasn't even talking about TRP in particular either. Assumptions about assumptions. And no, I will never ever go to coffee with a random man off the street.

I wasn't addressing you in particular with that, in the just the general feeling people seem to have about these kinds of things. And I'd tell him no.

Ignoring isn't always safe either, and it's very hard to know how a complete stranger is going to respond if you decide to speak or keep silent. There's no winning whatsoever. It's easy to say "well you should of..." when you have no experience on the matter. I have to make these assumptions because I know everyone will say "well it was your fault you got hurt/raped/abused" if I decide to be friendly and give these people an opening. Oh what a stupid girl I am, giving these men a reason to attac…

Saying no pushes the risk of an aggressive response. My saying no didn't stop those men trying to drag me into their car, and I have even been attacked by someone for refusing to give him my number before. Verbal harassment and stalking are also possible. I just associate being approached with being hurt. If a man is ballsy enough to walk right up to me, I will assume he wants his way regardless of what I want, because that better prepares me for whatever he may do to me, but this also feeds my …

Also, men start losing virility around the age of 35yrs which increases the chance of a child being born with health defects, meaning that generally a man loses his LTR worth if the woman wants children when he gets past that age. Which is probably why women naturally want a partner closer in age to themselves.

I remember when I first started getting catcalled walking home from school at the age of 14yrs. Men following me and saying things like "Hey little baby can I have your number?", walking really close and trying to touch me really made me scared of men for a long time, and eventually I grew to hate men after two guys started talking to me before trying to drag me into their car. I looked very young as a child and apparently some people still mistake me for being 16-17yrs even though I'm 24yrs old…

I like girly men. Girly men are super hot. Maybe that's why I don't care for gender roles, though, but I don't think I've ever cared about them and apparently I am "gender queer" or something like that. I just don't see any particular benefit offered by adhering to traditional gender roles within my own life, seeing as I'm not much bothered by what other people think of me.

That's very specific. If you get obsessed over the idea of being cheated on, isn't that kinda like dread gaming yourself?

I'm not red pill, nor male (I thought it was implied! I need to work on delivery). I just notice that people like to have power because, at the very least, they think it equates to happiness. I disagree with most of what I understand of the red pill because I find it too impersonal or cruel.

Hmm, for about seven years (mostly in voluntary isolation, ha), and in part I also supported my sisters during that time. I haven't been diagnosed with dependent personality disorder, but rather something else.

I approach things from a different viewpoint from him, support him emotionally as much as he supports me, and happen to be more impulsive than him (which means we do a variety of new things together because it happens to cross my mind, like dragging him to row down the river to a forest for a summer adventure, which I think keeps things interesting). I also like doing random romantic things for him and giving him presents, and he seems to find my speech and communication quirks adorable which is…

Look down on my father? I don't look down on him at all. I think he's a respectable man and I'm not sure sure where you got that impression, at the very worst I find his eccentricity quite funny at times. I don't know what kind of scenarios you've imagined for me, but the vast, vast majority of the time I am completely fine. I may say odd things or come to different conclusions about something, but overall my issues don't significantly interfere with my ability to live a normal and independent l…

I don't know about the kind of relationship she has but sometimes something has to give. If you have mental health issues that alter your perspective of reality then generally you'll do better to trust in someone who loves and cares about your wellbeing, particularly if that person is going to be around you all the time. It might seem like a parental role to you, but in actuality it doesn't function the same way. It's just something that both me and my partner have accepted and are alright with,…

Kino, amused mastery and negging don't work on me because I don't recognise it as flirtatious behaviour. I find it unsettling, but not flirtatious. The worst/most unsuccessful RP type behaviour came from a man who tried some sort of combination of dread, amused mastery and negging on me, but he was so awkward about it that I just assumed he wanted some new friends and gave him my number. Then he kept calling me and wanted to go on a date or something. Overall he was well dressed and athletic in …

I usually find that most people see to correct misguided or incomplete opinions, particularly on the internet, so I thought it'd be fine like that. I have an unfortunate issue with clear communication due to my tendency to assume that people process things the way I do, so I must apologise for that!

Red pill can get very anal about how outsiders interpret (or disregard) their discussions, so I thought I'd zero in on a topic I'm interested in for clarification and explication, rather than wander off thinking "Haha! The red pill is so dumb, even though I don't really comprehend it and it confuses me." I could do that if I wanted to, but I like learning about other view points, even if I disagree or they scare me.

I think sometimes both leading together is better too. It just depends on what works well for the couple and is different for every relationship.

I don't really make the connection between the interchangeability of power dynamics and the reversal of gendered behaviour. My mother was still feminine and a nurturer, and my father was still masculine and a provider. I don't understand.

My dad earns money and is intelligent. He is also male and protects my family (not so hard when you're a huge Scotsman and built like a bear. Saw him drop a man in one punch once for threatening my mother, which was cool). I fail to see issue or argument with him being a man. My mother just has more time, different life experience and a different set of life skills from my dad, which are better geared towards leading. I mean, she was living on her own and paying her education since she was twelv…

I have a therapist, but that doesn't help much with sudden, impulsive decisions. And it's not like I never discuss with or question my partner, I just accept that he makes more reliable decisions than me. If I don't like something then we decide against it as a couple. If we both agree on something then we act on it as a couple. He just stops me from doing silly things like adopting a litter of kittens or trying to cut my head open because it hurts. He's also better at money management and longt…

Well I have a few mental health issues, so I think it's fair to acknowledge that not everything I do and say is going to be beneficial for me and I'd rather have the second opinion of someone who is mentally sound. My dad also has those issues, so perhaps my understanding of relationships is skewed as a result?

That's quite strange, seeing as my parents are still very much in love and my mother isn't sour towards him. They actually still go on little dates every weekend. But okay, I'll assume you know them more than I do.

I hope by nice guy you do not mean the dreaded "Nice Guy" and their notoriously antisocial behaviour! Apparently I can't be too careful when using that label, as it has landed itself in the realm of insult. For raw sex, personality typically isn't considered, but in longterm relationships it most certainly is! Otherwise the delightfully kind chocolatier I frequent wouldn't have had such a long, successful marriage, nor have quite so many female customers (but quite frankly his chocolates and cak…

It seems this is a bit of a touchy subject! I haven't been here too often so I don't know about previous topics all that much, I just think that all questions should at least be considered for an answer, particularly if a new face is asking. How can someone learn if they don't question, after all? I like questions and I like to know their answers. Maybe my learning is annoying though, but a lot of what I do can be annoying. Oh well! It seems like I might not like TRP judging from what I've seen …

I think it's a valid query to ask for a red pill article that advocates the consideration and awareness of another's feelings. Surely that supports pro-social behaviour, which is often easily lost to what is generally presented to the public by such a forum? Perhaps you don't agree with the rest of the contents, but that one request itself is innocuous at best, and shouldn't be ignored and avoided.

Misunderstanding often comes from the improper use of language, particularly when people start removing necessary qualifiers ("most women" becoming just "women") and so an unfamiliar person will read it and interpret things using standard reading conventions ("... as is typical of women" will be regarded as alluding to all women as per typical interpretation.) Harsh tones and language also contribute to misunderstanding. Because there are no physical social cues available within text to respond …

It's shallow but men and women do that sort of thing all the time. I don't need an Adonis and if I am happy I wouldn't leave, but there are people who would because people can be like that.

I don't like radfems and I think they are insane, and I don't like angry red pill men because I think they are insane. Feminism as a whole isn't like radical feminism though, and maybe not every red pill man is scary and aggressive (although such men seem to be heavily down voted? Why is that?) I just don't like radicals in general because they are boneheaded and inflexible, which is key to being a stupid and boring person that nobody knows how to talk to.

I am just learning that the subreddit version seems to be a bit different from what red pill people seem to think in this subreddit, so, maybe it isn't so true here. But I've seen lots of "she's a bitch so it's her fault not yours" on /r/TheRedPill so I thought that is how the red pill operates.

Um, there is tape for adjusting eyelid shape (in Asia at least) that is barely noticeable I think, so maybe that could help? I think pulling skin back might help but I don't know because I don't have ever dealt with something like this. Might have to wear your hair long to conceal it maybe. Or maybe just tell people what happened and hope they are kind (I'd probably do this at least) or wear a scarf.

I think maybe just stop being so mean would be enough. Radfems thrive on the internet but there not that many in reality, it's a small group that falls under the umbrella of feminism, but on the internet they can be loud and noisy and get lots of attention. And people love to hate, so they get lots of attention! But the red pill is a very cruel in attitude towards women (well last time I checked the front page of it anywho) and seems to be filled with disdain and resentment. If it were to be con…

I'm a daughter and my boyfriend isn't red pill alpha face (is that the conditions for being blue pill? What is blue pill? I have no idea!) so of course yes! I am very happy to be with someone who is so kind to me, isn't a big abusive and makes me love, so there must be others like him out there surely? So why not? Bad people are bad, but not everyone is bad, so it's worth a little risk I do think.

I think I'm better than the men in my class. They all get lower grades than me and I can outcompete them in both athletics and traditional/video games, draw better than them and produce better works of creativity (my higher ups seem to think my poetry in particular is quite genius). They also seem to be worse than me at building and fixing things (oh, can you help me with this?)! Perhaps it is narcissistic to say such things? But it's oh so noticeable! Perhaps I lose in socialising though, parti…

I'd leave a man if he started growing facial hair or getting morbidly obese. I'd probably end up with a slim man who doesn't let his face turn into a dishevelled bush. But that's because I am very much driven by aesthetics at this age (I believe men should be allowed to peacock and be flamboyant or whatever without being labeled gay, as they did in many previous cultures) and losing attraction is a valid reason to end a relationship. Technically this makes me a shallow hypergamous bitch. But isn…

I thought both the red pill and blue pill had issues with accountability though? The red pill (at least the sub anyway) seems to encourage putting most all accountability on women a lot of the time. People just don't like responsibility, because it's difficult and puts you in the spotlight. It's easier to say "well x is y because of z!"
