If I understand this right, when you're hired by a company there is an expectation of professional decorum when in public spheres when one associates themselves with a group, she now represents the company in some fashion. That behavior was not it. Too bad, I can't imagine the amount of work needed to get an internship there.

In nature, aposematism is the advertising of an animal to its predator that it is in someway not worth eating or attacking. Colors like red or yellow as well as a few othes serve as a warning that the animal could be in some way toxic. I would make an argument for bright pink, acid yellow and green hair in our species. If it looks like a highlighter, there may be possibility, but I can't vouch for the accuracy as this theory, as there is mullerian and Bastian mimicry...
