Me too. I've always been fond of getting all sides of a picture, and there's just too little activity over in /r/egalitarian.

You're putting words in my mouth. My argument is that men and women should have equal say in an abortion decision. If either parent feels he or she is not ready to have a kid, he or she should have the right to walk away. In an ideal world, couples would not get pregnant until both are ready and willing to be parents. I wish that men had MORE options for birth control. That's why I said I want a "pill" for men, so that they can exercise the same reproductive rights women have. On both of these p…

Wait, what doesn't solve the issue? I'm confused. Male contraception would give men at least some control over conception, because there's no conception if they're shooting blanks, right?

And here I was expecting a discussion of the situation where an accidental pregnancy occurs, the guy isn't ready but the girl won't abort. IMO, if either spouce is not ready to have a kid, don't have a kid. I am waiting for them to come out with "the pill" for men. Or at least some type of male birth control.

My first ban, too. My reply? "Thank you, sir, I'm honored."

I loved seeing this post. Tried to submit it, and got redirected to yours. I'm 15 minutes too late! Ah well. Good show Sonja!

Depends on the girl. IMO, the safe way is to start indirect (May I ask you a question?) and end direct (You're a beautiful woman and I would love to get to know you. Is that okay?) But, as for me, what won me was that a guy who was already in my group of friends came up to me and said, very bluntly, "I have a crush on you. Want to go get dinner?"

Does it count that I'm a girl trying to pick up girls?

Definitely. I didn't expect them to be able to reverse themselves. I hope they alert their patients to that when they're consulting.

As much as I try to avoid dailymail.co.uk, this was a thoughtful read. As a young woman who does want to be pregnant at least once someday, I wish that older people who want to have children would seriously consider adoption before giving in to the biological clock. Seriously, with as much as 134,000 kids out there waiting for homes, that is 134,000 too many.

Ah, but when comparing high IQ and low IQ trends, take socioeconomic status (SES) into consideration. High SES families tend to continue being high SES in subsequent generations, same with low SES. SES seems to have a higher correlation with intelligence than breeding.

Still, 12 years of protection from one procedure is pretty darn good... and this is from a woman who got a 10-year IUD.

Every time I hear a doctor (urologist) say that, I feel a little more optimistic about the future.

I think they would still call it sexist any way you cut it... :(

Sounds like he took down the whole display. XX here, and if I were in the area I'd put an old mattress on my lawn and cover it in fake blood. Seriously, screw these overly-sensitive pussies.

I'm all for that. Still, I'm not going to throw a fit if my lover doesn't want to do that is my point.

Female here. I consider it to be a mark of constitution to get it on during the red tide, but I'm not going to insult my lover if they don't want to do anything besides cuddle. Also, condoms are your friend.

Honestly, I could see it going either or both ways. It depends on the guy. One might care too much to report it, another might not want to look weak or easily duped. I myself had a male friend who says he was raped, but for one reason or another he was afraid to tell anyone except me, and that was months after the fact. I agree, mainstream "culture" is very sick and twisted in many ways. Sometimes it hurts to watch.

The time and effort to please them. From what I can tell, the girls who get too upset over the little things end up being very difficult to work with in one way or another. I like girls people who are relaxed, confident, and aren't afraid of a look and a smile. Honestly, I wish more girls would do what I do and not worry so much about the creeps, and be upfront about where their limits are when introducing themselves.

I am uncircumcised and glad of it. I also had my wisdom teeth removed. You know why? Because if they hadn't been removed, I would have four impacted molars, lots of pain, and lots of expensive surgery. I don't want to pay for any surgery that isn't necessary.

I agree. I think the girls who hate being ogled just aren't worth it.

Female here. I make a point to let people know that they're free to look (makes me feel very pretty indeed), but they can't touch. I extend the same courtesy. On a kind-of tangential path, I am so glad that the frat houses at my campus dress their new recruits up in cute sailor suits. Oooh, boy.
