3	I've broken through! Meditations by Marcus Aurelius I am by no means a philosophy or classics expert, but I don't understand Reddit's enthusiasm for Aurelius but silence towards Seneca. I personally find Seneca's letters and essays to be superior for a layman's initiation into Stoicism: they are easier to read, more personal, and puts a greater focus on 'you' rather than 'service.'
