I am a skeptic and a materialist so, a huge turn-off for me.

I had to look up afbb. Alpha wolves were never real. People are allowed to date in their 30s.

Your link doesn’t work. Also, Atlantic Magazine paywalls their content.

I’m an autism rights advocate first and foremost. I talk about autistic people 1st and autistic men second. I think sexual assault as a disability issue as well as an issue worth talking about whoever is effected by it. I bring up the 9 in 10 statistic for that reason, and because it is horrific, and no one is talking about it.

I’ll look at the empathy gap. To me it’s like how parents want to protect their little girls, but they tell their little boys to toughen up. They are not as compelled to protect their little boys. I think the empathy gap is real.

When I was a boy it was both a stronger boy, and a girl.

Yeah, reading articles on “mansplaining” (having an opinion while male), “manspreading” (taking up space while male), the “nice” guy phenomenon (which baffles me, I don’t understand the concept), now mansisting (existing while male) will be next.

I think polluters should be taxed I also think that corporations and wealthy land-owners should be taxed so kinda of, but really I’m more of a U.S. Social Democrat. In practice, I always vote Democrat, unless I think they’re incompetent.

I hat the man-prefix portmanteaus, but toxic masculinity came from the Mythopoetic Men’s Movement in the 90s, and basically just means not being able to share your feelings, or having to act tough/hard all the time.

If you stop after she says no, you are respecting her boundaries, and treating her like a complex human with her own experience, and not a means to your end (your personal sexual pleasure).

It’s almost as if the implication is that violation of consent isn’t a thing that happens to boys or men. I don’t believe that is true.

Someone else provides it in full context. This is what I found.

The people that offended against me were juveniles when I was a juvenile. I think any offender should get locked up. I also think false accusations that are successful can ruin lives. I also agree with the civil libertarian feminist Judith Levine on our ineffective and highly punitive sex offender laws.

I am angry at sexual assaulters. I still think they deserve a fair day in court, and due process of law should be followed. That being said I think it is very easy to make a false accusation. All of this is why we have courts.

I am an autistic man. I cannot read anything but the most obvious body language. I like clear consent guidelines.

There is a men’s group at my (Unitarian) church, but they focus on attacking toxic masculinity, which they define as men not being able to express emotions, needing to be hard all the time etc. I am not a part of it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
