A pencil that has been sharpened many times is a useless speck of graphite. A pencil sharpener that has successfully sharpened many pencils is clearly high quality. What trait do women have such that they can be compared to locks accurately? (If you could answer that without referring to women's vaginas as men's prize for having good game, that would be great).

Slightly melodramatic there no? If you honestly think that women want to kill unattractive men, r/incels might be a better subreddit for you.

Good for them for being able to embrace their sexuality without (with less?) fear of reprisal. I find the idea that men 'can't be bi' toxic and of course I believe in fluid gender/sexual roles, so I'm actually pretty happy with this development.

I find it hilarious how women have the upper hand in marriage due to being selectively aborted since everyone thought they were useless compared to a male child. Seriously, if you kill off that many women it kinda goes with the territory that the remaining ones get to be picky.

You say women have inferior brains, and then wonder why women don't think we've achieved equality yet and need to "change the rules". Until attitudes like yours are gone, true equality hasn't been achieved.

Should the LGBT movement be called equality? That may be what it's fighting for, but there are many forms of "equality". The word "feminism" describes the specific type of equality that is being sought - both that it is about gender rather than a different type of equalist movement, and that it is mostly about raising women to equal men - whether or not you think it's doing that, that's still the goal.

I want to get rid of both. To succeed or fail on my own merits and not because someone thinks I'm a bitch rather than assertive or that girls don't belong on the streets.

The thing is that I don't think that women have either. I firmly believe that the glass ceiling is a real thing and that many women would do better in life if they were magically turned into men or had been men all along. Whether equality of outcome should be enforced or not, I think we don't have equality of opportunity and we should.

I think that a feminist is someone who wants women to be recognized as/ made to be equal to men. Like, equal(er) representation in high-profile jobs, and low-profile if they want that, no more "girls can't do X". It also involves the breakdown of gender roles, which benefits both men and women: girls can code just as well as guys, if a guy wants to play with Barbies there's nothing wrong with that, girls don't belong pregnant barefoot in the kitchen unless they want to be there and likewise boys…

If one women doesn't achieve much, it's probably personal. If women systematically don't achieve much, I think it's fair to believe there may be some form of glass ceiling at play.

I think maybe that's to be expected with a huge percentage of the subreddit below degree-completing age. For example, I'm in high school right now. I will have two degrees in ten years' time, but right now I'm contributing a big fat zero.

Doesn't this prove that you're wrong? 60% of the userbase is 24 or under, and an additional 12% is under 18. That doesn't sound like washed-up crones to me.

But if you're saying that pursuing equality is pointless, then what do you think the MRM is even for, other than equality from mens' perspective?

I think that it's okay to make fun of people for their beliefs, and it's okay for me to make fun of the people who make fun of people for their beliefs. Like, you can make fun of feminists, I can make fun of you for making fun of feminists. I do NOT think it's okay to make fun of people for who they are. Like, you shouldn't make fun of fat people or gay people. Even if weight is something you can control, it's just a dick move to mock people for it.

I think maybe a year ago or something it was great, but it's gone downhill. It went from making fun of people who thought they were animals to making fun of fat acceptance to making fun of fat people to making fun of feminism. I mean, they aren't technically part of the manosphere but they aren't the community making fun of morons that they used to be.

Of course not. If I ever want to marry and have kids, I'm going to want him to be a SAHD. The think that's wrong is expecting every woman (or man) to conform to this vision, which you aren't doing.

The personal-accountability and the theory of "don't bitch about the world, that's not productive, just accept it and work within it" are both valid/good ideas. If their worldview wasn't so personally offensive/dehumanizing, I would admire their attitude.

If you think women shouldn't be SAHM, then that logically means that they should be in the workforce just like men, which opens a whole new TRP can of worms. I'm actually surprised that any redpiller can have a problem with SAHM.

Two ideas: 1) Within a given household, men and women in an ideal world would earn a similar amount 2) This isn't always possible. At the very least the number of households negatively impacted with a male breadwinner should be balanced out by a similar number of households positively affected with a female breadwinner. On the whole, either situation would lead to men and women wasting the same amount/type of productive time caring for children, rather than women wasting the vast majority and ma…

I'm saying that the amount of women who are lawyers and the amount of men who are lawyers should balance out in the end, even if their respective spouses earn less.

Because I don't think that the woman should be cutting hair at a salon earning $170k less than her husband! And as much as it would hurt that family, it would help the family with a female lawyer making $200k and a male social worker making $30k. I want these two types of families to balance out in the end.

If 24 weeks off are required for a baby, then yes I do think 12 should go to her and 12 to him. Children and mat leave are a huge reason of why women get behind in their careers, and this would balance out the burden of children between genders. And it shouldn't matter who is taking time off, because the goal is to have the two parents earning close to the same salary.

At least, not when you factor in all the relevant variables. Yeah, but that's my point. There are so many variables that cause women to earn less than men, and we can start tackling them. Mandatory paternity leave would deal with one. (Mandatory that the man and women take the same amount, not mandatory that they must take any at all.) Gender-blind resumes can be another. (Note I'm not just pro-women - I also want gender-blind custody.) The cause of the problem IMO is multifaceted and difficult …

Feminism is about a number of things First, equal legal standing, which has been largely achieved. There are still quirks, like parental rights (which go in her favour) and maternity leave (which goes in his favour, as her career is forcibly compromised and his isn't). Second, equal social and economic standing, which hasn't. Women overwhelmingly work lower-paying jobs, and earn less money than men for the same jobs. Whatever the reasons for this are, feminism wants to correct them. 3 percent of…

That has literally nothing to do with the context of the thread, though. Whether or not it's a reasonable comment elsewhere within the sub, it doesn't belong there.
