Worst part is she can get child support from the minor. I've read so many stories and court cases about this shit happening like this. It is fucking despicable.

That is one of my biggest concerns with hate speech laws. I always point at the UK as to what is a huge expansive abuse of those kinds of laws. Literally NO-ONE being offended over a video seen by 3 million people can have you facing a year in jail! Or simply POSTING rap lyrics that have the word nigger in them is enough to get one convicted. Or posting mean things on twitter, not threats, just mean things or offensive things. It sounds funny in some cases (like with Count Dankula & how he's tur…

And that is a horrible law. It criminalizes subjective feelings rather than concrete actions. Hate speech laws are utterly immoral in my opinion. I despise the hate speech itself, but to outlaw it is sickening. I happily served my country to protect ALL citizens and the rights of each and every one of them, regardless of the hatred in their hearts and minds. Because THAT is what true freedom is. If you can't give a right to speak to the worst of speech, it is only a matter of time before the rig…

Do you have a link to that case you mentioned about the judge awarding all women custody being removed? I'd love to read it.

Hate speech is not a legally recognized thing, because it is subjective. Hate speech is not real.

True. I have watched a few of his "someone sexually abused me/kid" videos. He seems to be somewhat fair in the ones I watched, offering the accused and the accuser to come clean before opening polygraph results, offering the accused abuser help, etc.. I know he isn't a real doctor and honestly dislike the airing of such personal drama on TV, I'm at least glad his website has this on it. It's a little progress. You would not see this on any other major TV show like it's website.

I've got an undergrad in psychology and halfway through my MSW. Freud is taught in psych classes to give a reference to the starting point of certain aspects of psychology. Not everything he came up with is great. But other theories have some basis in psychoanalytic theory that are very well respected and well researched. Psychology is more and more working towards a harder science, especially considering things like cognitive Psychology and neuropsychology. We now have better biological underst…

You are trying to imply one thing based on a very unique case. 99% of trans people do not identify with their biological sex. There are several reasons for this with theories both biological and psychological. Treating this dysphoria can range anywhere from simply taking on more feminine characteristics to gender reassignment surgery. Gender identity has nothing to do with age (in the context you are referencing). The person is possibly Transgender, as well as having this idea that they are a 5 …

Former firefighter EMT. This is sadly a concern for even the pros. If we have to administer defibrillation to a female patient we have to remove her shirt and bra if it has an underwire. If a female patient regains consciousness during this process and has two or more people hovering over her exposed chest it can cause them to freak out. Even though we wouldn't need to touch the boobs there is still a few concerns because we would be working in that area and if someone were to make an accusation…

Do you know of any studies discussing whether the standard form of SRS (penile inversion, as opposed to taking a section from the colon) works as well with people who have had their puberty halted at a young age? Can't speak to that one. But I think the colon surgery gives better results regarding the tissue naturally lubricating itself. I think both do, but I've heard the colon surgery may be a tad bit better. Id think penile inversion wouldn't be as effective in younger kids because if they di…

Is your preferred gender one of the mainstream two (m/f) or do you fall into the QAAIP* whatever part of the alphabet soup? I'm biologcally a male but I identify as female. I haven't transitioned yet but most likey will be in the near future. I'm not too familiar with whatever QAAIP is so I can't speak to that. I'd say I'm bisexual. I'm attracted to women but I'm also sexually attracted to men just not romantically. You mention that you have been clinically diagnosed as dysphoric. Blair White ha…

As a fellow transgender person, men's rights advocate and Republican/conservative, I feel you. I get shit on because I support men's rights, or believe in small government. But the trans-trenders who play transgender because it's the new gay/lesbian of this era get this wide audience, who then shit on people who truly have disphoria, like you and myself. I've been clinically diagnosed with dysphoria, but because my views are not ultra left, I'm not really trans, or I'm helping the patriarchy. Fu…

Not nursing but similar. I start my msw this fall. The program is only 10% men. Which is dumb because it's a great career field that makes pretty good money, plus you can be a therapist with a master's degree. Nursing is another good field, but it's also dominanted by women. Fuck two of my relatives are nurses making $40-60/hr, cause the demand is so high. There's no need to masculinize the field. It's already pretty neutral. It's the bias against make nurses, like there is against male therapis…

Any chance you have a link to those figures? Sexual assault, rape and other topics are key areas of research for me. I've written different papers on the topics during my undergrad and want to do some detailed research during grad school. Thanks!

Not STEM, but I'm going to grad school for my master's in social work to be a therapist. My school's program is 90% female. Out of almost 400 people in the program, 30ish are male. I think this helps lend credence to the idea behind hormone influenced career choices. My field is about caring, compassion, helping, etc... A primarily female thing. Whereas men are more likely to be into STEM fields.

At my last military base before I separated, the clinic intake form had a section "for women only", including the section "are you safe at home?". I called bullshit and spoke with the patient advocate about it, informing him that 33%+ of military domestic violence incidents involved a male victim. After that, they removed it from the women only section. But next to the question in parentheses was "recommended for females ages 11-65”. I was going to appeal this but I was out processing and didn't…

See an orthopedic surgeon or neurosurgeon. They are the experts and will be able to help diagnose and treat it. Things like acupuncture and chiropractic Care don't really help.

Is it just back pain or is there radiating pain, like down the leg? You should get an x-ray or CT scan, along with an MRI to make sure you have no spinal issues or herniated discs. Also never see a chiropractor, the one who treated me herniated two discs, which has resulted in three back surgeries, and I still take 100mg of morphine a day, plus other medications. It's really in your best interests to go see a doctor. Im not even 30 yet and I've got over a dozen screws and two fused vertebrae. Tr…

As a chronic back pain sufferer: It is difficult to gauge pain levels in a person with spine and nerve problems. Even though I've had multiple surgeries I still require a lot of pain medication. But like you mentioned it is very easy to fake and get signed off by the doc. I had trouble while I was in the service with people believing I actually had pain, which fucking sucks. Hopefully future technology can help isolate and identify real vs fake pain.

Bullshit! There is a technique I discovered to prevent unshaken drips. After shaking it, grab a bit of toilet paper. Grab the base of the penis and squeeze towards the top, like a toothpaste tube. Have tp waiting at head of penis to catch urine. Boom! No more leaky penis on floor/pants/underwear.

Worked at one of those major gas stations that are fancy and are known for clean bathrooms. Someone had explosive diahhrea on the seat, walls and floor. It was horrible. Unbeknownst to me at the time, I poured what was essentially a whole bottle of bleach all over the walls, toilet and floor before I would even touch it. The fumes from not only the bleach, but the bleach reacting with urine, messed me up for like an hour or two. NEVER HOVER WHEN SHITTING!

Thankfully I'm married so it's not a problem i faced. Thankfully im out now. The new green dot seems to be less biased than the previous training, but it still takes a lot to be considered a male rape victim with female perpetrator. So many people think erection==consent. Try arguing vaginal lubrication==consent and you will be gutted alive.

Gender dysphoria is. Gender identity disorder, or being transgender in general is not. I am a conservative transgender. Believe it or not it exists. Sex and gender are separate things and this is agreed upon by the medical and psychological community. Gender does fit on a spectrum. Most people are not 100% either gender. Even though I'm trans and identify as a woman, I still support mens rights. I absolutely hate these "trans-trenders" who think being trans is cool. It's fucking not. With therap…

Also many homeless people keep a phone because it's a key tool. It has internet, a way to call and be called for interviews, and more. Essentially if i was going to be homeless my phone would be the one thing I'd want so i can have access to resources to help my situation. Also being homeless isn't always being dead broke.

Was in air force until recently. Can confirm essentially all of this regarding their witch hunt on sexual assault. Until last year the training was basically "stop men from raping". The SARC at my base, before he retired, basically said man CANNOT be raped, because they get an erection. They spent over 10k on a speaker who trained us not to rape in 2013/2014. He had volunteers sing a song like "12 days of Christmas" but "rape prevention" lyrics instead. It was Jeffrey Bucholtz, from WeEndViolenc…

As a conservative transgender person on this sub, they are very welcoming to trans, and even I hate transtrenders, thinking being an angel is a gender. No, that's not how it works.

I'm gonna chime in here. I've been clinically diagnosed with gender identity disorder, and also depression/anxiety. I'm biologically male, but I've throughout my life never felt like a guy or associated with the sex/gender. Henceforth my diagnoses. I'm also conservative on most issues, only leaning left a bit on gay and transgender rights. These crazy fucking ideas of there being 100 different genders is stupid and undermines real transgender rights. There's male and female, and a spectrum betwe…

This particular micro aggression is stupid. I have several disabilities that can impact my schoolwork. But guess what, I set up accommodations through my school's disability service office. So if I have a flare up, I can have an extra day. Anyone who WOULD be effected by this most likely already has this setup in place. This is just another excuse to help bring micro aggression to the mainstream

I Fucking hate that Shit. Document document document ever incident in a journal. Exact words. Date, time. Use it as evidence against her. While it's cool you support his decision, i would recommend him freezing a few sperm samples. In case he ever wants that option in the future. I have fertility issues, and reconnecting everything for a reversal is possible, it doesn't always work. The yearly prices aren't too bad at good clinics that preserve them.

That should be a standard clause in all cases, unless the parties agree to it prior. This happens and kids don't see dad for years.

Holy Shit. Fuck that judge. Guy makes right decision for his kid, ends up doubling his costs AND paying for bitch to go to class. Fuck that. That would've been my last straw. I'd have gotten that money out undetected and back to the dad somehow.

Its actually a cost saving measure. It allows planes to leave full and save fuel, and compensates passengers with vouchers and other items. Without it prices would be a good bit higher cause of fuel costs.

No. But the first time I ever got pulled over at like 19, I had an expired registration, and was nervous as shit. The cop kept asking the routine "got any drugs? anything I need to know about?". I got 4 violations, but they were all removed after I took the evidence to the courthouse.

I've been pulled over a couple times for stupid shit. I forgot to put my plates on my car after working on it, cop pulled me over, asked where it was, politely explained situation and I was on my way. I just separated from the military and a couple years ago our base's sexual assault response coordinator (SARC) thought it was impossible for a woman to rape a man, because he thought that erection meant consent, because "men can control it". This was the guy for over 2000 people who was in charge of helping sexual assault victims on our base. One of my coworkers had a meltdown over the issue one training day because of how the sarc and prevention program treated all men as potential rapists and…
