All I am saying is that this is a pretty "advanced" exercise. How well do you think this would go if you had acne scars, missing teeth, and a crooked nose? Not well at all. And I understand part of this is to "desensitize" to rejection, but if you aren't finding any positive results then what momentum is there to continue trying?

Not nearly as cringey as I thought it would be, but it seems like rules 1 and 2 apply here.. for less fortunate men who also struggle socially this would be an absolute trainwreck of an exercise

Im explaining why people ask the question. Because we all know its the only reason why she would be interested

Truth is life is much easier when youre attractive. Its simply matter of fact, and while yes you can still get laid if ur fat/ugly, you will need a lot more luck than if ur fit and attractive. The pool for potential mates is way higher. For casual dating &hook ups like in the OP, the mind set can only get you so far, you still need physical attraction

Thats why this entire story is a load of bullshit. Walking up to 2 people eating and randomly asking "are u dating" is the most autistic shit ive ever heard of. Its one of those things you think sounds cool when you play it in your head but in real life it is way different

/r/theredpill is /r/seduction taken to an extreme. It's borderline a cult. The foundation of /r/seduction is live a healthy and attractive lifestyle. Take care of yourself and seek genuine interest in others to have them seek interest in you. It's promotes a symbiotic relationship with another person. /r/theredpill throws all that shit out the window and says do whatever the fuck you want because we all have the biology to be alpha males. That shit fell apart once civilization occurred.

You're wrong for thinking it's OK to leave it be. You are guilty by omission. Would the same logic extend to witnessing a murder on the street? Would it be OK to not come forward too? Sure, it's an extreme example, but the same principle applies to cheating to a lesser degree.

Hmm, I strongly disagree. A very selfish mindset. ...and I'm not worried about anything, just seeing how the community feels about cheating.

Would you not want someone to tell you if your significant other of long term was cheating?

The longer their relationship lasts, the more one could argue the boyfriend is wasting his time, and the greater the fallout when the relationship inevitably collapses. Imagine if you dated a girl for 3 years and suddenly found out it had been going on for 2. Wouldn't that be much more terrible than finding out as soon as it happened? You could always leave an anonymous note to not bring yourself personally involved.

Who here thinks there's an ethical obligation for OP to inform the boyfriend of his girlfriends dishonesty and cheating? Edit: Not saying there is one way or the other, just curious as to what the community thinks and to generate some interesting discussion Edit 2: after discussing it, I do believe the boyfriend has a right to know. OP /u/blueredgreenorange, please ask yourself if your girlfriend or wife was cheating, would you would want to know. That's all there is to the argument.

Introversion as an excuse doesnt even make sense. All it means is that we find large amounts of social stimuli draining. You can be introverted and be the life of the party. The difference lays in how long you care to stick around how you prefer to wind down.

Can't measure return on investment from children because the only thing that will come from it is happiness built internally. They can be the best thing you ever invested.

My point is: who gives a shit about your game in comparison to your career? Because at first glance one would think a successful career would work very well in your favor, so an discussion as to why it may not is warranted. Personally, I think it could work in your favor if you play that card very late and your considering more than just pick up.

Seriously, man? Let me assure you there is a difference between pickup and basic socializing. You can not execute pickup without having the foundation of socializing. Of course there are similarities. Pickup is all about treating a girl in just the right way in attempt to get where you want to be with her. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. Socializing, such as suggesting to eat when one mentions they are hungry, is not pick up. It's basic. social. interaction. If you do not know this, …

I'm sorry but I'll be straight up and honest. This post sucks. This community is for people who need help with the ladies - not basic social interaction. I understand some guys may incredibly socially inept but they need the foundation of socializing first before attempting pick up. This post falls under basic social interaction. Nothing you mentioned helps with pick up and would be better suited in another subreddit

I've spent a large part of my college career playing League of Legends and smoking weed. It's no wonder I don't have a girlfriend and failing grades. The situation has sent me into a downward tailspin of depression. Years spent with this behavior has deeply ingrained the routines into my brain, rooted in simple and immediate gratification. How do I break free of my destructive habits?

I feel like I need to take a big breath after reading this. Please put some effort into the quality of your post. Anyways, good job desensitizing yourself to rejection. Maybe you should start breaking down each set and determine where you did good, where you did bad, etc. and that way you can learn from fewer sets.

Living your life everyday like you can have any girl you want, obviously without being an asshole.. The idea is to be the person who you want be every day, not just when picking up girls. To kick it up a notch, Me and my friends will predrink and blast some party music. Working out will help you in many other aspects of life including seduction, so theres not much of a reason not to. You probably got too deep in your head man, get the fuck outta there and live in the moment. As others have said, have fun. I wasn't zoned for it This doesn't make sense. You should be in the 'zone' 24/7 so that it no longer becomes the 'zone' and it becomes you. Start living your life every single day as the confident individual you are.

Little to none I would say. The only thing to be concerned about is crossing the age of majority line - that is, hooking up/dating someone under 18 when you are older.

PLEASE someone tell me why it is a bad idea to do COFFEE/MEAL SITDOWN. I have a first date with a very attractive girl who's number I got at the bar with little to no interaction, and guess where I invited her? Coffee sitdown. Assuming she doesn't bail, why is this a bad idea?

I think hes speaking more generally, not with just one girl. If a girl flakes on a date, then another girl gives shitty text responses, then another girl straight up rejects him before he has a chance to open to her... At one point should he begin to take it personally? It's a good question that I've been wondering myself.

You gotta get RIGHT in there RIGHT away along with your friends if your gonna hang around with them. I find if you wait too long, I get too deep inside my head and will feel awkward suddenly coming into the conversation. If they aren't feeling you, either 1) dont give a fuck and keep having fun or 2) go find some new girls to open to.

The way I find a girl on the dance floor is usually go up to a group of girls (that have NO guys) and either dance in rhythm with one side to side, if she follows rhythm or gets closer to me as well, i'll get behind her OR I simply get behind a girl and tell her into her ear to give me one dance hoping she'll stick around after it.. After a few songs and shes still around, I turn her around and dance face to face. This where things happen - i have yet to run game on a girl i've found on the danc…

If your confident then you shouldn't be asking this question. enjoy your weekend with your girlfriend - once I find one that i am really into, i am sure i will forget about all this seduction theory... Everything will come out naturally. You like her, she likes you, you both know it. And you are worried about what... Her not liking you cause you show you like her ?? WHAT? my mind is full of fuck

I honestly believe beauty is largely in the eye of the beholder. How can you turn something inherently subjective into an objective measure? It is hard to rate a girl objectively when you already have gotten to know her.

I think it's unfair to say alcohol is in the wrong direction. Especially as a college student, alcohol is everywhere. Learn to enjoy it responsibly and you won't have a problem. It'll be tough to have a exuberant social life as someone who will not drink. There is a reason why it's so popular around here, and that's because it's a social lubricant. When people are buzzed and feelin' good, they have no problem meeting everyone.

Not saying its true, but some could argue that you don in fact lose something. It could any sort of feeling.. Like losing your virginity may make you feel more manly. I'm trying to say that you could lose something, it just might be a little abstract.
