Even in my male mind, I persevere tall men as more attractive subconsciously. Example: there’s this dude I lived with in my freshman year of college who was ~6’4. Dude absolutely slayed with women which I accepted cause I thought he was attractive like body and face wise. For some reason I recently thought of him, but imagined him short. This mf is ugly af. He wouldn’t stand a chance against me.

Better off than if you were to watch hardcore stuff, but it’s a slippery slope. Even if you watch vanilla stuff you can feel compelled to watch it more and more.

There’s something wrong with you if you need to watch porn in order to not cum all over your pants when you see an attractive women in public. I haven’t watched porn for a long time and have never had that happen.

Porn exposes you into more and more extreme stuff making you desensitized to “normal” stuff. That’s one thing I could list more. You’re also helping people profit off of a shady business which entices the abuse of young women and children.

Where did I say you shouldn’t help? I’d help an asshole he if was drowning. All I’m saying is the idea that volunteering makes you a better more understanding person isn’t always true. Also I wasn’t expecting them to bend over backwards and give me a blow job for making some soup. Most of them were just straight up rude ass people. Whether it’s their circumstances that got them there or not, they were still dicks.

Volunteering in college made me less compassionate. Volunteered weekly at a homeless shelter for half a year every Friday for 5ish hours. Every person that went there was so so so lazy, they did drug deals in the parking lot of the building that was helping them, wouldn’t help clean shit up, stole, refused to go to any form of drug treatment, and this list goes on. Before, I would never say something like “homelessness is a choice” after tho I could see how someone could end up homeless, but peo…

Yes, there’s a chance. However, something I didn’t mention was that it can only add 4 inches at the max with average being 2-3 inches. The guys who are looking to get this are normally well below average like 5’6 and under so most who get the surgery either just make average or are still considered short.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/22 04:12 PM
15

As someone who’s looked into height increasing surgeries, I can tell you it doesn’t make sense unless you’re made of money, don’t care about your ability to walk, and have months where you can just disappear. You have to go to a third world country to get a surgery that costs as much as a car and at best you can’t walk for a few months. Most people lose their ability to fully use their legs like running or weight lifting, a good percentage also end up in wheel chairs.

What’s up with ppl thinking masturbation = watching porn in a lot of subs and IRL, if you say porn is harmful, some person will state a fact about how masturbation is healthy. Like ya? Masturbate without porn.

I think for average or below average guys, it really depends on their mind set. If they have a big ego or even just a slight ego about their looks, then I could totally see a dating app destroying them. But I would describe myself as below average (I’m 5’6) and if you go in with the the mind set of “no woman will ever be attracted to me” that first like even if it’s a really ugly girl can provide a ton of validation and ego boost.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/22 03:21 AM

Unpopular opinion: as a dude, dating apps have boosted my self esteem a lot. Throughout high school and the beginning of college, I legit could not imagine a woman being attracted to me. So much so, I was hesitant to make a dating account bc I thought it would prove me right. However, one night I got drunk and made a profile, I was wrong, I get matches prob daily if not at least 4-5 a week when I use them. Even if I don’t “win” (date or hookup) it’s a huge relief to know I’m not as ugly as I tho…

I just realized what happened, matched with this ridiculously hot girl on tinder a month ago. Ask her to dinner and get her number, she says she’s busy this week, tell her to text me the next week if she’s free. Get no response so I delete the number. Wake up today to a text say “I’m so bad at texting back here’s my snap @her snap” dont know the number so I just text back “think you have the wrong number”. Look up the snap, it’s that fucking girl, she texted me back a month and a half later. Min…

Ugly guys get laid all the time. The uglier you are the better your social skills need to be, but there are tons of short balding guys who get laid.

I think you’re making it too complicated. For men, being a virgin just shows a lack of social skills, which is a red flag. Women don’t need social skills to get laid which is why it’s not a red flag.

Now that I’m thinking about it. I might be. We went on 9(? Maybe more) dates and whenever we cuddled she would have to take my hand and put it over her. After those dates I had only kissed her once. She was pretty hot too.

Idk man I don’t have the social skills of you apparently. “Picking up signals” is not as easy as you laid it out. I’ve had first dates that I believed went horribly, where I get a text after saying she wants to do it again. I’ve had times when I thought the right move was to not persist when later I was told I should have. I’ve had times when a girl literally told me to ask her out, and when I did she said it was a joke. Specifically on the persist thing. My grandpa “persisted” after a no and go…

Maybe it’s just me because I genuinely cannot tell if I’m making someone uncomfortable. I lean so hard into not making someone uncomfortable it back fires. Recently went out with a girl, and I kissed her once, she didn’t seem to reciprocate, but she wanted to keep going out so I thought she just wanted to take things slow. Didn’t kiss her the next date, we kinda fell through and she ended up essentially calling me a pussy for not kissing her 🤷‍♂️

as long as they respect their boundaries This is much easier said than done. Peoples boundaries can be very hard to figure out, especially because most people (all people not just women) don’t lay their boundaries out because it’s just not a socially normal thing to do. Picking up social cues can also be difficult. A lot of peoples social cues can over lap into different things. What one women considers politeness another considers “making a move”. I’ve seen some women who tell me their really i…

That’s my point, sometimes you just have to go for it. If you miss read the situation, that can leave the woman very uncomfortable, or very pleased.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/22 09:18 AM

I can’t imagine in what scenario I would be telling someone what I want to do with them other than like sexting. What if we just went on a date and I want to give you a peck on the cheek? “I want to give you a kiss on the cheek”? That just sounds weird.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/22 09:04 AM
4

So your answer is basically yes? I think you’re thinking about it from a kind of third person angle where you know how the woman feels and how the man feels. When in reality, the man only knows how he feels and what he believes the woman feels. Most men probably believe they would cherish said woman forever. Can you see how a man could confuse himself? Personally I never persist like at all. Even if it’s not a direct no, I just give up in fear of making her uncomfortable.

No matter what people tell me, a poly relationship doesn’t work and is gross. Trying to have one relationship with a person is hard enough, now that you’ve added another person it’s your relationship with person A, your relationship with person B, and the relationship between A and B you need to worry about.

There’s more to personal experience than words. Also that sub is full of people who got pregnant at 16 or had severely disabled children. There’s a reason most posts aren’t “life’s fine, I just wish I could go on vacation more often”
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/22 06:32 AM

I guess try heroin?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/22 05:52 AM
2

I have issues with that data. For example, why are they only looking at people who are “very happy”? Moderately happy and miserable are all the same? Secondly, I’m not saying having kids will make everyone happy. A single mother who gets pregnant and works at Walmart will be miserable. I’m more saying if a child just means you don’t go to the beach twice a year or get to eat take out every night then you’ll be more fulfilled having the kid.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/22 05:51 AM
3

I disagree. I don’t think those provide you with long term happiness. There’s more to life than that. Humans capacity for reasoning is shit. The desire to reproduce is universal, it’s why people have sex. We’ve just invented ways to avoid the kid part of the equation.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/22 05:16 AM
3

There’s nothing wrong with enjoying life. But it’s like watching a dude shoot up heroin and saying “good for him he’s enjoying life”. Not comparing heroin and not having kids, but like there’s more to life than momentary happiness. Also the most basic interest of a human is first staying alive then reproduce.

I’ve read through your comments and what you seem to be missing is that most women end up going to through a “hoe phase” where they sleep with a handful of guys in a short period maybe it’s two maybe it’s five. They decide they don’t like it. Most men don’t have that option. I can’t choose to go hookup with someone on a Friday night. I would have to work hard and play my cards right. Maybe in a man’s dreams he could go from pussy to pussy, but he can’t and never will. He’ll be left taking what h…

Women do that because they’re sensitive.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/22 02:35 AM

I could do the same backwards logic and if men had more EDs and make it make just as much sense. Women are sensitive to what others think more so than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/22 02:11 AM
2

You’re just working backwards to come up with a reason. If men had EDs you could say “most men will fuck any woman given the chance so women feel no pressure to become more sexually attractive, while men on the other hand must compete” Men feel pressure to look a certain way.

/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/22 06:22 AM

That’s not normal. Most women live at least a few years alone. College is normally when it happens, but even if they’ve never lived alone there’s still a difference. A 50 year old woman knows how to do basic life skills like cook, clean, do laundry, and maybe budget(?). An 18 year old girl or guy may not know any of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/22 05:55 AM
3

Maybe if you had some statistics on that I’d believe it. But a woman with a college degree and no work for 20 years is better than a 18 year old guy that maybe has a high school diploma. His best shot is flipping burgers or being a cashier, I’d think a middle aged woman would be able to find something in an office.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/22 04:56 AM
6

Are you going to struggle as much as an 18 year old who has definitely never been to college and has maybe graduated high school? Probably not. The sacrifices you made for most people who receive alimony was getting to live for “free” (I understand they didn’t live for free they did work) all those years. The payment is to keep the woman at the same standard of living not to pay them back for having kids. Yes right now they only have to provide till 18, but if you kick them out I think you shoul…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/22 04:47 AM

In the same way a divorced woman deserves alimony, I think kids do. Until when? Idk depends on things but in general alimony is paid out for like 70% of how long the marriage lasts so maybe 12-13 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/22 04:44 AM
9

Why don’t children kicked out of their homes at 18 get alimony? I’m not trying to make an argument against divorced women getting alimony, but the argument for children who get kicked out receiving alimony is much stronger than a grown woman. Most 18 year olds who’ve never known anything other than their parents supporting them would have a much tougher time adjusting to society than a woman who probably has some form of real work experience and has lived on her own.

Exactly so if she doesn’t have manners and treat me well I shouldn’t pay. Those manners include trying to get to know me. Many sugar daddies don’t need sex so should all women try to have these arrangements? I mean for one these relationships can’t afford you much emotional support and probably leave you feeling like an item to be bought. Also most peoples evenings are pretty boring. If I only have to beat watching Netflix or smoking weed i got that.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 06:34 PM

Asking someone to a one on one dinner is not tip toeing. At some point should we just be saying “I would like to explore having a sexual and emotional relationship with you, can we go on a dinner date to discuss this and get to know each other?”
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 06:26 PM
1

I thought her “part” was being attractive? Now it’s just showing up and not being an ass? So if she shows up unpresentable to me and isn’t pleasant then it’s acceptable to not pay? My bar is lower than that she doesn’t even have to look good she just has to give some effort to get to know me. You’re understanding of a date seems to be a sugar daddies understanding of a date. What’s the difference between a sugar daddy bringing a girl out and a just a normal dude?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 06:17 PM

You would have to autism to not understand a man asking you out to dinner is not a date unless it’s obviously a platonic relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 06:13 PM
1

So it sounds like you agree. If the woman is open to being persuaded then I’m cool with that. Also what if the woman’s not attractive like you met her on OLD and her pictures are really doing her justice. Can you get to the end of dinner and explain you will not being paying because she is not attractive enough? Or what if you think she’s attractive but her personality is so bad throughout dinner she becomes unattractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 05:58 PM
1

Lol what? That’s on both of you to be attractive. I’m assuming a woman who’s attractive doesn’t want to go on dates with ugly dudes. Her part of the agreement is that she’s open to the idea of getting to know the man.

So is it morally ok for a woman to go on a date with a man only to get free food if she has no interest in him?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 05:22 PM
1

You didn’t answer my question
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 05:19 PM
4

I’m a man
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 04:43 PM
2

I’m not above thinking men can do this. Lol it’s just wrong. If you don’t see it as wrong are scammers also not morally wrong?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 02:50 PM
2

No man has said they don’t wipe their ass because it’s gay. You made that up.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 02:49 PM
3

That’s made up. All men wipe their ass.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 02:45 PM
3

Men who aren’t homophonic don’t do this. Most gay men don’t do this.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 02:45 PM
0

Seems petty
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 02:34 PM
0

Those are both boring
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 02:31 PM
1

Why are laws set by the government something you need to follow? By this logic raping and murder aren’t morally wrong and if you don’t get caught even better.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 02:26 PM
1

A lot of younger men could find older gay men who’d be happy to take them out to dinner. None of them try this.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 02:21 PM
0

Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 02:17 PM
9

This is morality 101, just cause someone’s wronged you doesn’t give you the right to wrong someone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 06:57 AM
3

It’s not bad, it’s just over kill and at a certain points becomes weird. Back to the pen analogy, If a dude in my class asks to use my pen and I give it to him it sounds weird if I try to explain that he’s just borrowing it and can’t take it forever.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 06:53 AM
6

The first time you hangout with anyone it’s pretty weird to ask them to do one on one things. If a dude I’m friendly with at work asked me to get one on one dinner with him even if I thought he was straight I’d still assume he’s trying to take me on a date.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 06:50 AM
1

If a guy invites you to do something one on one for the first time you should always assume it’s him making a move. This is well known. Unless you have a long standing relationship of getting dinner and going out together platonically it would be moronic to conclude a dude is just wanting to be friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 06:40 AM
0

I don’t accept the premise that casual sex is happening anymore than it has in the past. I also put the word “could” in there so even if there is tons of causal sex there could be other reasons other than complete societal decline.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 06:38 AM
2

I don’t believe society is in decline, but even if I did that doesn’t mean you can’t have long term goals. If you’re excuse for not going for a run is that society is trending downward then you’re just making excuses.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 06:32 AM
1

So you’re saying if I ask a woman to dinner it’s not a date unless I ask before if they would like to go on a date?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 06:29 AM
1

No you’re definitely more likely to be raped. A lot of guys will assume their getting sex and can get frustrated. Even if it doesn’t escalate to rape dudes can become creepy and pushy.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 06:20 AM
5

It should be very obvious whether someone is asking you out to dinner as a friend or as a date. It’s so obvious that I can never think of a time this needs to be stated out loud.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 06:19 AM
1

Why do we have to act like everyone has autism? If I ask a woman out to a one on one dinner, unless you have a specially platonic relationship you should assume they are asking you out in a date especially if it’s at a sit down restaurant.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 06:16 AM
2

It’s not free tho. There’s a cost. Only a dumb woman wouldn’t be able to see the cost cause it’s not literally money out of their bank account. A free dinner would be a dude sending DoorDash to you’re house.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 05:29 AM
2

I know you’ll never know bro. More my point is that I have to be more conservative about who I ask out to dinner. Prior to reading that study I assumed any woman who would go out to eat with me at a minimum had some interest in getting to know me. But apparently this isn’t true. Also movies and skating are pretty bad first dates.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 05:27 AM
2

And I’m saying it’s not worth it and only dumb people would view it as worth it. It’d be one thing if the dude was offering you $100 cash but almost no amount of food correlates to the chance of being raped or wasting time on.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 05:24 AM
3

How? Most of the time I go out to dinner I don’t even find the food worth what I paid. I go out to eat most of the time to socialize. I would never find it worth it to go out to dinner for even a $100 plate if I needed to eat with a gay man.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 05:21 AM
2

I don’t think it’s wrong to expect the guy to pay, but I think it’s wrong for that to be the only thing you’re looking for.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 05:13 AM
0

No. Hedonism isn’t what’s left after you’ve gotten all your needs met. There’s always a long term goal you can work towards that will leave you feeling more fulfilled.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 05:11 AM
10

Could just be a sign of societal decline not a cause. People seeking out hedonic pleasures is a sign of poor judgment.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/22 04:52 AM
2

If I didn’t know about it I wouldn’t care What does this mean? If you didn’t know obviously you don’t care because you have no ability to
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 03:39 AM

Do you think there’s any level of like non permanent “self improvement” that you would judge? ie; maybe a waist thing that makes you skinner, a subtle muscle suit under clothing, stuffing your bra.

/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 01:41 AM

Ya so they are the complete opposite of RP and they tell men to lift. Purple pill tells men to lift, blue pilled men are told to lift.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 01:38 AM

I’m trying to say that most of what RP says is common sense then they throw in absolute garbage on top.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 01:37 AM

Lol what? Go on FDS and almost all of them will tell men to lift
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/22 01:35 AM

How is lifting weights a RP thing? Almost any form of dating advice involves becoming more active.

Reading through this is so funny cause i live in a college town, so the furthest I’ve driven to pick up a date is less than a mile.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/22 05:53 AM

Thanks my lawyer told me to do it but I’ll still take the cookie
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/22 08:45 PM

Nah they make the homeless shelter into a “restaurant” and people (mostly old people) come in and pay for food and the money made goes back to the shelter. I bussed tables and cleaned up.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/22 08:22 PM

Animals aren’t worth helping. I legit hate peoples who volunteer for animal shelters. Waste of money and time.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/22 08:19 PM

Volunteered at a homeless shelter today. I am better than all of you.

Idk kinda depends on your definition of friends. In high school my best friend was a chick and she was more into me than I was to her. We hungout pretty often and texted everyday. Eventually she asked me out in a backwards sort of way and I just didn’t respond and we kinda drifted apart by the end of high school. Now that I’m in college I have to “friends” that are girls. Ones my friends girlfriend and we’re pretty chill. One is just someone who is friends with his girlfriend. We get dinner like…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/22 04:52 PM
3

Idk if someone sent me a pic of raw beef I’d prob want a burger
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/22 04:44 PM

I’m always amazed on Reddit how no one brings up post history when debating something. Like I’m deadass supposed to act like you didn’t post a pic of you wearing a diaper and being a furry?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/22 03:10 AM
3

Maybe not technically but you’re much closer than society would like you to be
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/22 12:27 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/22 12:18 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/22 12:14 AM
4

Dude goes on tinder and openly says he’s a child grapest and they view womens responses.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/22 12:05 AM
1

So we agree. Going on dates just for food is wrong (as long as you aren’t facing some threat of the “male wrath”) and should be seen as a perk to the main objective of getting to know this person.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 10:56 PM
1

I feel like you’re not understanding my point. You’re looking at it from my perspective. I’m trying to look at it from the woman’s perspective/intentions and say it’s wrong for a woman to go on a date with the intentions of only getting free food. Whether my magical personality can convince her otherwise is beside the point. Also I don’t like feeling like a monkey that has to dance and convince her I’m not just free food.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 10:38 PM
1

There’s a social understanding to what a date is. A date is not paying for someone’s food and sitting with them. A date is two people trying to see if they are compatible. If a woman has no intention of getting to know the guy it’s no longer a date.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 10:31 PM
1

If it’s all about practice and is standard why don’t women just say it. No woman would ever say “I just want some food not really looking to get to know you” or anything along those lines. Women don’t say this because men wouldn’t be down. There’s a social understanding that a date means there’s some level of interest above the free food, but women manipulate that to get free food which should be seen as gross and wrong and not “standard practice”. Same as a man who strings a woman along for sex…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 10:30 PM
1

I should feel grateful a woman is willing to take my money?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 10:25 PM
1

Nobody said anything about fucking. The question is it wrong to accept a date just for food under no intention of getting to know this person. Obviously dinner doesn’t mean you get to fuck.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 10:18 PM
1

Should be pretty straight forward as to whether that’s wrong or not. Shouldn’t take too much big brain thinking.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 10:09 PM
1

Would you say it’s wrong for a women to do it on OLD? Go on dates just for free food.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 09:07 PM
1

You really think this has to do with how men handle rejection? Many women do this on OLD sites where this wouldn’t even apply.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 08:49 PM
1

So you got any advice then? I’m in college. I don’t feel like being someone’s free meal.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 08:38 PM
0

But I’m saying the “wrath” would only be worse if you accept the date. If I ask a girl and she says no, I guess I’m upset, but if I ask a girl and she says yes, well now my hopes are up. Then I spend money on her and I think I’m really doing well, then she rejects me. That’s when I feel like there’d be more “wrath”.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 08:18 PM
0

Well then you didn’t do what I’m describing. I’m specifically talking about women who go on dates solely for food. Also how is rejecting someone who you’ve never been on a date with less dangerous than rejecting someone who’s spent money and time on you? Personally I feel much less upset if a woman just said no than if she said yes then I get all ready, plan a date, get there and spend money and time on her for her only to reject me then.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 08:12 PM
1

How did you not feel gross doing it?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 08:08 PM
1

No the survey is saying that’s not even true. It’s fine if someone goes on a date to learn more. If your goal is meeting the person. 1/3 of women go on dates just for food.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 07:28 PM
1

Just bc 1/3 of women is like that doesn’t mean 1/3 of the women around you are like that. No that’s actually exactly what that means. Maybe in some locations less and some locations more, but on average 1/3 of women around me are like this. Also it’s pretty hard to tell when women are into. I had the assumption that if you asked a woman out to dinner and they accepted that meant they were into you.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 07:17 PM
2

Read through the comments. A study was done and 1/3 of women say they do this and over 40% of when don’t find it morally wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 07:12 PM
2

But these are women answering the survey.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 07:10 PM
1

Yes it hurts your ego to know you were used. You feel stupid.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 07:08 PM
2

How can it not? It’s 1/3 of them who participate in this and over 40% who do not see it as morally wrong. So if I ask any individual woman out I am narrowing it down to the 1/3 who will do this and woman who are actually interested. This means more often then not you could be going out with these women.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 07:07 PM
1

I’ve had two women tell me they had previous feeling for me but that I did not pick up on them.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 07:05 PM
1

I matched and we were already in a convo
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 11:11 AM
3

Nah I’ve done it the normal way twice gonna try the manipulation route
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 09:55 AM
3

It’s one thing to give a guy a chance or see how you feel about the person. The goal is to met the person. But this study is specifically about going on a date to get free food and the questionnaire makes it clear.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 09:46 AM
2

Nah I’m going to see if she’s desperate enough to text me back.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 09:42 AM
3

What makes it scarier is over 40% of women don’t see it as wrong to accept a date and have him pay when they no interest in a relationship. Whats even scarier than that is that while it is statistically only 1/4-1/3 women who do this if you ask a woman on a date a woman who does this is more likely to say yes because they see free food so it gives you a better than 1/3 chance
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 08:48 AM

1

I mean, no woman on earth has given me attention much beyond that. Most women don’t pursue. Every dinner date I’ve ever had is one we’re i initiate. I also don’t think I’ve ever been bamboozled most of the time I get them back to my house.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 08:25 AM
7

Lol well she would hit on you if she sees you as superior
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 08:10 AM
4

Ok so, I asked a girl on OLD if she wanted to get drinks after our break (we’re in college) is over she said “I’d love to :) just text me after break cause sometimes I’m forgetful lol” how do I respectfully say I don’t want to remind you if you’d actually love to you’d text me?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 08:09 AM
4

No in the questionnaire it asked “How acceptable do you think it is to date someone (you were not interested in a relationship with) because he might pay for your meal?” It’s pretty clear what this question is saying. 40% of women find it acceptable to go on a date to get free food when they have no interest.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 07:31 AM
6

In another study it says 1/3 and over 40% of women don’t think it’s wrong to go on a date just to get food while having no romantic interest
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 07:22 AM
1

Exactly so your perspectives on dating are outdated.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 07:15 AM
2

That’s the way it worked like 30 years ago when women didn’t have infinitely more options. You were limited to who you could physically met, now OLD means any girl could have a date every night of the week. So it become infinitely more expensive.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 07:13 AM
4

It has nothing to do with economic status. I can easily afford to go out to eat and pay every night of the week if I wanted too. But who likes being played? Even if it’s just $25 I don’t like being played.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 07:10 AM
3

Monkey brain likes the idea of providing
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 06:34 AM
3

33% of women say they do.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 06:32 AM
5

Please read the study.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 06:15 AM
7

If you read though about 40% of women find it acceptable or are neutral on the idea of going on a dinner date to get free food when you have no romantic interest. Which is insane. To me this is an obvious moral wrong like not even close to being ok.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 06:14 AM
3

I would have thought the number would be like 5% of women, but it’s fucking 33%. What makes that number more scary is by asking a woman to dinner I’m weeding out tons of women who wouldn’t do this leaving me with the few women who would say yes and are romantically interested and the women just do it to get dinner. Odds are most women are not romantically interested.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 06:08 AM
2

I hate that. I enjoy spending money for some reason. Every guy tries to go for a cheap date.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 06:04 AM
3

I enjoy it most of the time. I probably won’t anymore. Normally I would do dinner then bring them back for a movie and drinks.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 06:01 AM
6

Please give me something I am looking for any reason not to be blackpilled
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 05:53 AM
6

It’s up to 33% which is a minority yes. But if I ask a woman on a date, it’s more likely she’ll say yes if she’s the type of woman who just wants free food, so by asking women to dinner you’re weeding out many of the women who would not do this.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 05:43 AM
2

Where what?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 05:40 AM
4

That doesn’t make it better people with jobs still enjoy free shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 05:39 AM
4

This study makes me sad. I wish I just didn’t read it. I enjoy paying on dates and have the means too, but I now will forever think I could be getting played.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 05:38 AM
10

I had my mind changed. Apparently it’s 1/4 of women who do it and view it as acceptable. And what’s scarier is that although it’s 1/4 of women if you ask any woman out and she says yes your odds go up cause a woman who does this will just say yes to any man.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 05:26 AM
4

Ok my mind has changed women are dumb and I am sad

I know this dude who’s girlfriend completely bullies him. I was at dinner and she talked about how he cried while drinking then she imitated the crying in front of the table. She said she could easily leave him as a “joke”. She said he had a small penis as a “joke”. She called him a pickme boy. He tried to rub her leg and she said don’t touch me. This was all in one dinner. Weird.

I’ve never seen anyone of these people bitch about people doing steroids, smoking, drunk driving, tax fraud committed by millionaires and billionaires, foreign wars, etc. they seem to have a beef with fat people and want a different way to say it.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/22 05:53 AM

Why are there so many gym guys who claim to care about “public health”? Like you get some women who’s fat and promotes “body positivity” and dudes take it as some personal slight. Then try to say something something increases taxes. Like really? You are actually angry about your taxes possibly going up because fat people?

I’m college age in a smaller college town. Not going to say my height but it’s below average, income doesn’t really apply because they have no clue but I have more money than your average college student, my bio says “I can cook and golf then my height”. My match rate already dipped I was aware of this when I started.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/22 04:53 AM

Neither am I. Any women who I would ask on a date is more attractive than me. Girls are just desperate for someone to ask them to dinner and not their apartment. Also even if they are ugly it’s practice lol.

What is up with women barely wearing anything in the gym then being creeped out if people look/approach? I can’t bring this up because women hate the topic and never give a good answer and guys will only say it in private cause they don’t want to sound like an incel. However, at my gym it’s very normal for a girl to be working out in what I would consider to be really tight boxer briefs and a bra. How is that even comfortable? That’s such bullshit no “real man” wants to live on his own. Real men want to have kids and die after creating a family. A man who’d be content living alone just worried about his own pleasures is a loser

/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/22 07:48 AM

Most of the subreddit isn’t about them trying to get into a relationship, so for you to say that them not understanding the dynamics between men and women is a non starter. They want to find a man who will fit their wants and if they can’t they’d rather be alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 11:04 AM
6

I don’t even find FDS principles to be extreme. As a dude, I thought they were kinda bare minimum for most women. It’s just women who get to that sub are jaded because if you’re having to find an internet society to help you date, you’ve been stomped on.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 10:58 AM
5

No most of them actually are ok with a “subservient” role. That’s why they are into things like men paying for dates, men making more than them, men taking the lead in the relationship, men proposing. It’s so clear you’ve never read through it. They don’t want to take a subservient roles where it harms them like being fucked like a porn star after matching with a dude on tinder
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 10:55 AM
8

Dude you’ve never read FDS, for one it’s not about finding a man. It’s mostly about avoiding men. Also they are totally cool with a man who will provide and lead.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 10:49 AM
11

Most of the women in FDS know there’s a very good chance they end up alone. They say (idk if it’s true) that they are cool with that and prefer it to putting up with a “LVM”.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 10:40 AM
13

It may not be about hating men, but there’s certainly a lot of hating on men in the sub.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 10:30 AM
3

I think men play up their problems, I have never had pain from peeing with an erection or blue balls. Maybe they come with age but I feel like I’m old enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 06:17 AM
2

Painful? No, I’ve never heard a man saying peeing with an erection is painful. Difficult? Yes, but you just have to push hard.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 06:13 AM
3

I’d have to scroll through and find it again, but he gave the advice to some guy and the dude actually tried it and his wife flipped out. As expected.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 05:10 AM
1

The advice they give is even fucking stranger, a mod on the sub said he rubs his wife ass hole while she’s falling asleep because something something she’ll grow to need it and sleep with him more?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 05:02 AM
8

Not always. The “male imperative” is not one thing. I don’t enjoy having sex with random women or having to “spin plates”. I think most guys would be happier working a 9-5 having 5 kids and being married to one women.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 04:29 AM
6

If I found out my dad posted in r/marriedredpill id want to not be alive. That sub is full of losers
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 04:25 AM

Tighter pants make it easier, the waist ban will hold onto it and normally the “bulge” or whatever lines up with the zipper. Loose shorts are the hardest bc the waist band won’t hold on. I would rather have an erection 24/7 than have periods
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 03:05 AM
1

People over exaggerate boners in public. I have a very average to slightly above average penis, and I’ve never had trouble hiding a boner. Sure it’s a little annoying but just tuck it into your waistband and it’ll go away in like two minutes.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 02:24 AM
1

To some extent yes, however it’s not as big of a deal cause most people don’t go on to regret getting a normal job. Most women regret staring in porn.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 08:56 PM
1

No that’s why you have other options.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 08:53 PM
1

Yes, I think if you’re an addict of something and signing any contract would give you money enabling you to continue your addiction you’re being coerced. Thus making your consent not legit. Even if it’s not technically illegal I think it’s immoral to watch someone abuse their body so they can keep up with their addiction. Banning cp won’t get rid of the problem or destroying platforms that do. As long as people can freely upload videos, you will have CP.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 08:53 PM
1

Like IRL go have sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 08:49 PM
1

Prob will if you over do it and masturbate a lot, but it’s less addictive so you’ll prob do it less. Also it’s not causing the abuse of anyone so if you wanna give yourself ED and harm no one I don’t have as much of a problem with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 08:49 PM

Or read something sexual.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 08:29 PM

What does this have to do with sexuality? Porn is immoral because it causes the abuse of women and children. Has nothing to do with sexuality.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 08:29 PM
1

Good thing I don’t get my morals from him.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 08:28 PM
1

It’s immoral cause I think most of those women have addictions and can’t truly consent. Often times cp gets uploaded so children are being abused. It causes ED. It makes men submissive and look to other men to provide their sexual needs.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 08:27 PM

If I cut your hand off I bet you’d have a harder time sinning.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 08:24 PM

How am I a troll cause of the child argument? Tons of cp gets unknowingly uploaded to porn sites and never gets taken down. You watch porn enough you’ll watch some cp. What is this a hostage situation? Touch my penis or I will watch people be abused to please my addiction. The buck stops with the dude watching porn. You can manage by just jerking off and if you can’t. You have an addiction.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 08:13 PM

I need muh penis touched and if no one will I will watch women (and likely children) get abused so I can cum alone in my room Grow up it’s frying you’re brain which prob why you’re not having sex.

Right now? Or are you saying in my hypothetical world? Right now you pay tax on how much the property as a whole is worth so if you buy a $200k plot of land and leave it empty and no appreciation happens then every year you pay property tax on $200k, but if you build a house on it now the property is worth more so you build a $100k house now you’re paying property tax on $300k. In my world you would always just pay the original property tax even if you build on it. This encourages people to use …
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 07:22 PM
2

That is the complete opposite of what I just said. Property tax would mean you pay tax on the property. Land tax means you have a flat rate the lands worth and you pay that every year. So if you got an empty plot of land it would cost you the same every year as building a multi million dollar house.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 07:17 PM
1

Fine you pay the government and they send back as a UBI.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 07:15 PM
2

No property tax is based off how much your property is worth which is dumb because if you improve your house (or store) you pay more which is dumb cause it’s an obstacle to improve stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 07:14 PM
2

You shouldn’t be allowed to own land. You have to rent it from society and the rent is called a land tax.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 07:09 PM

Why do so many “HVW” watch such garbage TV? I’ve scrolled through FDS and looked at posters other stuff and they all post in TV show subreddits for garbage TLC reality shows.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 06:45 PM

College parties show that a majority of men will rape? I’ve been to a lot of college parties and it actually amazes me at how rare rape is. Children (like literal children 17-18) will get shit faced drunk around each other in skimpy clothing and this happens almost every night for months. On my campus there’s like one rape allegation a year. Now most rapes go unreported by how many? Most likely not enough to make it a majority.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 06:40 PM

What’s wrong with asking this? What exactly is the underlying assumption?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 06:33 PM

I think most men under “perfect conditions” would, but I believe for most men these conditions would never happen in the wild. A situation like a barely underaged girl at a party hitting on a drunk 22 year guy, even if she is sober and consents still rape. One where a man and a women are drunk as hell and start to kiss and she like pass out, maybe then most men would do it. Like I think you could construct a situation in which any man would rape. I’d like to say I never would, but idk I’m sure i…

Then that means my wants aren’t feminine. What i want is quite the opposite of material.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 05:06 PM

Men love women because women give men what they want too like sex, emotional support, and something to look at. Women love men because they give them security, emotional support, and social status.

How is this feminine thinking?

Being socially accepted is apart of a fulfilling life.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 02:33 PM

The way people think of self-esteem is so beyond warped. Self-esteem isn’t about not caring what others think that’s like a westernized idea and a cope for people who have poor socialization skills. It goes against all of human natural. Humans naturally want to fit in because it provides protection and it’s not bad and certainly doesn’t mean you have low self-esteem.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 02:23 PM

Which part? I enjoy social credit? Oh ya really need to sort that out.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 02:19 PM

I find mail order brides to be immoral and I don’t like women who have accents. People, especially friends and family, will know she’s a mail order bride which is more socially harming than being alone. I also don’t want someone to “show off” just someone normal. Therapy is 21st century garbage. Just used to get people to conform to the therapists “normal” and their normal is what they learned in like one to two years in uni.

Yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 02:00 PM

I feel no need to have some philosophical reasoning as to why I want social approval. It’s as common as humans wanting sex. I like it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 09:10 AM

I’m not saying that I would actually go into a relationship under these terms where it’a just a facade. I would have to be pretty manipulative and lie in order to do that which I won’t. I’m just saying for now that’s all I want and know it’s unrealistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 09:05 AM

Ya I don’t want to do that either failing relationships are bad socially as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 09:01 AM

I hope you see how useless a conversation about rights are when you don’t believe any human can have a right to anything.

Can I get an example of a right? Cause almost any “right” has things you have to do. For freedom of speech you must pay taxes for a government that can protect you so you can have your freedom of speech. So freedom of speech is a privilege?

So public libraries are a public privilege and not a right? Your definitions seem to over lap and make the words meaningless.

I mean we get free libraries and education which aren’t needed to live but are needed to live a fulfilling life. Why not free whores/partners?

I have my height in my tinder bio and a chick and I match, we talk and I ask her for her number she said “depends are you actually 5’7 or is that code for something” bruh what? I say as a joke “it’s code for height” she calls me short.

During the “courtship phase” (idk what to call it but like the first two months or before it’s official) I pay for everything even if they offer. After that, I let her pay if she offers but when I ask to go out I do it with the intent of paying. In the “courtship phase”, if she offers I see it as a good sign. However, in my experience if I turn down the offer they don’t push it. If she never offers it’s off putting. Frankly, I just like paying. Something in my monkey brain likes the idea of “pro…

It’s not to just prove you have money, it proves on some level you’re generous. Also you told me you have and show you have money that is a form of “outcompeting” other men. Plus there’s a sense of accomplishment when you pay for someone else. It feels good. I pay for friends dinners often.

I actually read through these and most of them prove my point. Some say women are 22 times more likely to be raped others say 3 times but essentially they all say women are more likely to be raped. I didn’t say you needed to be happy. I also don’t believe you were raped, cause this Reddit. Like boo hoo you lived most young boys dreams.

Millions? Can I get like some link that shows millions of young boys are being molested by older women? It’s more likely that a man will rape a young boy than a woman. Ya sure go talk to most of those men. I’m sure they are just fine. As a guy, if I had sex with my math teacher at 16. It would have put my confidence through the roof, and I would have loved every second of it. It’s still wrong, and I’m sure some men have been traumatized, but it’s such a non issue compared to young girls being ra…

No it’s not absurd and disgusting. It’s the reality of the world we live in. Firstly, woman on boy rape is infinitely more rare than man on girl rape. If you don’t want to admit that idk what to tell you. Secondly, let’s be real, woman on boy rape is typically no where near as traumatizing as the other way around. A 16 year old football player banging his 35 year old math teacher is less of an issue for the boy then a 16 year old girl being pinned down by her 35 year old male math teacher. To mo…

As a dude who would never split a check, here’s how I see it. Women have options, many more options than most men. I am competing with other men. By paying, I’m showing I’m at least financially stable enough to afford dinner and have some level of generosity. Along with this, a date (especially a first date) is a much more vulnerable situation for a woman. Men are typically bigger and stronger. Men are infinitely more likely to be doing the date rape then the other way around. Men are more likel…

As a dude, I’ve never understood the argument “women just use men for food”. Like really? You wanna spend an hour with me so you can get a $16 dollar salad and an appetizer you barely touched? If so you’re a fucking moron.

There is a social advantage in being married for a man. When I meet a single 40 year old man, I assume there’s something wrong with them or a little off and most of the time I’m right.

Rich is subjective so it’s harder to say that’s rape. However, lying about your age is definitely rape. People consent under the pretense that you are being truthful. If you’re not, then consent isn’t there thus rape.

Science doesn’t tell you what the goal of life is. That’s not a scientific question. If you need one maybe a philosopher or a theorist could help. Individuals goals in life are not congruent with life’s goal to keep on keeping on.

The theory of evolution just states that over time organisms will evolve to be better suited for their environment which happens through the passing down of better genes. It doesn’t state that you’re goal in life is to produce the most robust human.

You’re threads are funny man. If women are actually approaching you (which I find hard to believe your personality seems insufferable just from your posts and you sound like narcissist), then I think destroying the 19th amendment is our only hope for this country.

I have not commented on this thread since yesterday cause I didn’t care to. However, I clicked on your profile since you said you are considered “among the most attractive in the room”. Idk where you’re finding these rooms. Maybe a retirement home’s bar?

Google “is skin care feminine”. There are dozens of articles saying it shouldn’t be. There is clearly a stigma.

I still don’t get your point with saying it’s men who have the problem. Men are half of society. This post isn’t saying women need to change their views it’s a comment on society’s views in mens attempts to become more attractive. There is 100% a stigma which is why if you google “is skin care feminine” there’s tons of articles saying how it’s shouldn’t be. Yes, thousands of western women find BTS attractive. A majority do not.

Calorie counting the act is seen as feminine. Now you have to do it to be muscular, but most don’t look at the activity and think of it as a masculine thing to do.

I looked it up out of curiosity. Here’s of video of Pharrell, even in the video he specifies skin care should be gender less and half comments are about how it shouldn’t be “feminine” to have skin care. There’s clearly a stigma. Toping charts doesn’t mean the average woman finds you attractive. Also again having clean skin is fine and attractive, working to have clean skin is seen as gay.

Even in your area I’m sure men can’t wear heels or makeup and be considered mainly and not gay.

People seem to be miss understanding this post. Having good hair and clean skin are not unattractive. Working for them is. Women who have extensive skin care routines are seen as normal. Men who do are seen as gay. Most western women do not find Korean boy band members to be attractive either. Also so what if it’s other men are the ones who call it gay and discourage it? Men make up half of society.

You’re not understanding. Women want a put together, fit, well dressed, attractive guy. They like clean skin and well kept nails. What’s not liked is the work. A man who goes to the mall with his friend and compares outfits or talks about fashion and what jeans fit him best is gay. A man who packs a bunch of face care stuff to go on a trip is not seen as mainly. Women are not attracted to ur SPF or moisturizer.

I go to a rural college. It’s also not that you can’t hide most of this stuff cause you can. Don’t go shopping with others or do it online, don’t tell people about dieting, don’t share you’re skin care routine. It’s more that women are encouraged to do all this. It’s accepted and even pushed on them sometimes. While men are definitely not encouraged and in many places discouraged. It was a big leap for me to start using moisturizer in high school cause my parents told me it was girly and I knew …

Was looking at “the numbers”. According to this article, unless you are seriously short as a man you do just as well sexually as other. If you look at short women they do just as poorly as short men or even worse when compared to other women.

Which numbers? What women say they are attracted to? Cause men say they like fit women with big boobs but most will fuck a women with a belly that goes well beyond her a cup tits.

Maybe you live in some uber liberal area or don’t notice it, but this just isn’t true. Men who color their hair, wear form fitting clothing, calorie count, spend time on their looks, are called gay. I have personally experienced this. This isn’t to say men should give up. I personally do most of this stuff and just ignore people. However, women are encouraged to do this while men are discouraged making the gap wide.

What’s the problem with being perceived as gay or not masculine? We are talking about the world of dating. Most women what a mainly man and society has deemed that working on how attractive you are as a man is not mainly. It’s a catch 22 you have to work on yourself to be attractive but doing that work makes you unattractive.

I’m a dude who’s read through a lot of FDS cause I find it interesting. I think you’re just wrong. The analogy is off because most of them believe they are better off alone than with the majority of men. Meaning most men subtract from their lives. They aren’t getting a 25k Toyota, to them it’s like going and buying a car that actively makes your life worse than walking.
