I directly was affected by this hypothesis, years ago at a job. Myself and two male coworkers were given official warnings for "falsifying timesheets due to excessive breaks". The truth was once a day (typically around 2pm) we would walk up the remaining 8 flights of stairs above our floor, then back down to our office. This was only done for health reasons and would at most take 20 minutes. Meanwhile, as we pointed out in our disciplinary meeting, two of our female coworkers spent 1.25-1.5 hour…

No you missed the entire part about the men whose lives she ruined. They were recognized in the article with one entire sentence: And they have had a huge impact on the lives of the two men she had accused. Well there you go. /s

My parents weren't contacted by the school, they didn't find out until I got home. They were at the school the next morning having it out with the VP and Principal for what they'd said and done. However the school held to their accusations and said I could have been punished more severely because "we take things like this very serious!!" It was my first time ever having something like this happen, or since.

When I was in High School, second week of 10th grade: I was never in trouble in school, I had never even been to the main offices. I was called to one of the Dean's office who I had never spoken with, this was about 45 minutes into 1st period. I walk in and there are two cops, all three school deans, the Vice Principal, and one of the Guidance Counselors. They proceeded to intimidate me IMMEDIATELY upon entering, asking did I want to go to jail, did I want a record, etc. I had ZERO clue what was…

Appreciate you posting this story. 100% not trying to be that guy, but for clarity she's been charged with two felonies and two misdemeanors in the case.

I'll answer, but I have to ask does it matter? Is there a qualifier for pedophiles and rapists depending on whether seduction was involved? I want to understand your point maybe a little clearer. The woman was a friends mom and was "flirty" with her sons friends, which apparently was seen as innocent but well known. This was at a church overnight camp and she asked for his help unloading a car or van. She then came onto him and when he was hesitant she simply pushed forward telling him that it w…

I hope no one you know ever gets to "hit that" as a 13-year old. You have no idea what you're speaking about. I can tell you my relative doesn't brag about being raped at 12. In the last ten years he's attempted suicide twice and nearly every time I get updates from his mother she tells me about his coping with drugs and drinking and I have to ask if he's in or out of jail. He has had zero traditional relationships with sexual partners and refers to women now as "bitches" anytime I speak to him.…

This 100%. A personal story: A new coworker of mine years ago (blue collar job, he was a post-graduate in finance) I found out after almost a year that he had basically run away from his small home town and started a new life. Guy was married with kids when a coworker bucking for his job running the branch they worked at accused him of rape. With zero actual evidence he was fired by the Bank, the accusation and fallout irrevocably hurt his marriage and his wife left him, and the town he lived in…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
