Yesterday I held the door open on 3 occasions for someone entering the WC as I was exiting (busy pub). 2/3 said thank you and the other guy didn't say jack shit. So when people are entitled pricks it makes you not want to do this.

What's the men's rights aspect here?

Sorry I'm confused. What does a bad marriage have to do with men's rights? I think counselling may be a better option than to sell the hobby off in spite. And if that doesn't work, well you can both perhaps find better partners

Not sure where in the UK you live but I've found UK to be decent for equality. Racism is a much bigger issue in the UK than "being singled out as a guy". Scandinavia has generally been at the forefront of equality - just because they care for families and have women in high political positions don't mean they're anti men, they're pro people. Why is Sweden an issue?

To be fair it's the daily mail. I'm not even sure headlines from that newspaper is worth discussing

That beggar didn't want food. They wanted money for something other than food. Most beggars I've asked have accepted food though

I don't get it, is there a back story?

You're not wrong looking at all the comments here. Let's be honest, what he did was a strong overreaction.

If she was another 3 feet over, it definitely wouldn't be. I suppose it's hard to make a judgement call at the heat of the moment but she didn't seem like a big threat

Detaining someone like that near concrete steps? This could've ended really badly.

I'm not attacking anyone. You're the one who said I was. This is a pointless conversation but I'm glad you spent more effort in this than I did

If you're gonna throw out an inverse logic statement like that you might as well say I'm only attacking white rich middle aged able bodied men.

It's unpopular in this subreddit to defend women, but you can easily see inequality for minorities and women. Plenty of stats out there to back this up. Whilst it has improved, it's definitely not equal. This text book hasn't presented that well but I see the point it's trying to make, despite how shitty its worded

This is the most sensible comment in this thread. I can't really tell what the point of this post is. This should be under /r/humansbeingheroes. These are selfless amazing people, regardless of gender.

I feel sorry for the girl. Mens rights or not, this isn't a battle for a 9 year old.

You'd do this with a friend? I doubt it.

Men are on average that much smarter than girls? I know this is MGTOW, but that's a ridiculous statement

Yes and no. Remember that swimmer accused of rape that got off cause of extraordinary talent? That's also bullshit.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
