12	Stop giving them attention Cold sores are a cousin to the happy place herpes but they are different. As a former Army Medic I have seen and treated virtually every form of VD that there is. Many of these diseases can have long term effects and this is real, not made up. Everyone would benefit from trying their best to avoid contracting an STD. 7	Stop giving them attention As a divorced older gentleman, re entering the dating online arena was an extreme shock to me. Being that I was an adult prior to mass availability of the internet, I knew there was a better way.
