It’s a bit of a thinker, but do you think I perhaps got married BEFORE all my friends did?

Relief. The sale of the house in the worst time to sell last year, and finding a place to rent and have that line up with the sale so I wasn’t stuck paying 2 places. Once that was done and I was in the new place, it was all about just ok… stress is over.

I don’t think banging an ex is ever a good idea. Dude she just keep not talking to her, but idk I’ve never had this ex sex best sex you’re describing 😂

It’s a trap. She’s done playing the field and now wants back in your life.

It’ll pass man. That’s what fucked me up the most, not having someone to text throughout the day. It goes away.

I don’t really bring it up unless it’s organically brought up. If anyone asking what I’m “looking for” then I may bring it up and say idk I did get divorced so just seeing what is out ther

Why do people always want to pressure others to get married and have kids? Because misery loves company.

Yeah I just moved to Chicago, so there’s tons near me. I went to one to check out a 2 minute walk from me. They do open mics on Fridays so I’m gonna do it haha

I’ve told so many people I’m doing it just to hold myself accountable. Good luck. Ill try to remember to check back and see how it went

When are you gonna do it? I’m torn between packing the house with friends to laugh, or just going it alone. What’s your method?

I’ve often wondered when that will run out. Shortly after my divorce, I kinda went thru a “whore phase”- had been with my ex since I was 19- was the only person I was with. I then just started sleeping around, and maybe that also hurt my emotional attachment to women. I haven’t even done that shit in months because it got old quick, now I just talk to a couple women I’ve kept in contact with and stay to myself. Who knows. Divorced life in strange.

I’m the same way. Divorced a little over a year ago, can’t seem to commit at all. I’ve met really cool women, some who I still keep in contact with. Idk maybe it’s me. I just enjoy only taking after myself, I enjoy the thrill of seeing an attractive woman at the gym or at a bar that I have a chance (lol)- I have no clue. Maybe it hasn’t been enough time, or the right person hasn’t found me.

She wants to bang someone. She’s mad at you for glancing at other women lol

Lemme quote some old school blink-182 here 😂 - maybe I’ll see you, at a movie sneak preview You’ll show up, and walk by on the arm of that guy And I’ll smile, and you’ll wave. Well pretend it’s okay. The charade, it won’t last When he’s gone, I won’t come back.

You’re better off without her my friend. You cannot force someone to want to be with you. What you can do is respect yourself, work on things you need to work on, and enjoy your life. I haven’t found anyone else that I’ve had that spark with just yet, it certainly isn’t that easy, but you got this dude. Chin up!

Exactly this. My ex was dating someone very shortly after our divorce. I blocked her on social media right away cuz I didn’t want her to know what I’m up to, or even care to know what she was up to. Only reason I knew she was dating someone was because for whatever reason, family and friends seem to love to bring things up like “oh did you see what she did/doing?” Shits so annoying. Anywho, of course then people wanna tell me “she deleted all the pictures of her and her new boyfriend” and what d…

She’s keeping you in her back pocket man. I’m all for being cordial… when I got divorced, we were very nice to each other in the beginning, then things got a little nasty, then we were nice again, then the last time I spoke to her she was threatening me with lawsuits, after she attempted to weasel her way back into my life. It’s strange. I’d say cut all ties with her for the time being.

Nope. I saw my ex one time since the divorce. I let her see my dogs, the ones she didn’t want. I kept it as brief as could be, and I easily could have gotten sex out of it. But I respected myself in that moment and I’m very glad I did.

It’s not your decision. She said she wants a divorce, that’s what is going to happen. The quicker you get through it, the easier it’ll be. You’ll be able to move on.

Damn. The day I knew it was over, I sat on the deck at my old house. She was out, and I sat there for probably 4 hours. No music, no nothing. Just thought about it all, though about where it went wrong, what I did wrong, what I could have done different (a lot) - I’m really glad to be past those days. I hope you make it through soon my man.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
