Technically, everybody carries the brCa gene. People with a defective brCa gene are more likely to get breast cancer because the gene is unable to do its normal tumor suppressor function. I think that is what this man meant. I believe that he is smart enough to know that his wife is at a higher risk of getting breast cancer and passing it on to her children, and isn't lying or anything like that. Sounds good, if you're willing to do float pool and/or nights, get some extra certifications, and find a good place of employment, you can easily level up and get a good wage, and then maybe even get a masters at an online school like WGU or become a nurse practitioner (different online degree) (almost like a doctor). Lots of potential for growth, and there is high demand.
