6	Man stabbed by girlfriend, name published by the media. His female attacker? Safely anonymous. Her name wasn't released at the time of the arrest because she hadn't been charged. Her name and photo were released after she was charged. It's standard practice in the news media (at least newspapers) to not name a suspect until they are charged, except for a few circumstances (very high profile cases). I can't say why the Democrat and Chronicle (who wrote the brief, picked up by AP and published in the WSJ) named the victim.
