My point is that you're probably misrepresenting the data.

Then I think you are misreading the source, partly because you edited the tables to be in reverse for some reason. This particular study sorts female victims before male. https://www.cdc.gov/nisvs/documentation/nisvsReportonSexualViolence.pdf For all concerned, pg. 22-23.

Doesn't this table list male on female as more prevalent? Either way, can you please link the source and tackle the posited question?

My post never stated otherwise.

https://www.ojp.gov/pdffiles1/nij/200338.pdf An estimated 91% of victims of rape & sexual assault are female and 9% male. Nearly 99% of perpetrators are male. This is a 2002 report. My question stands: where does coercion end and personal agency begin?

I still think most rapists are men, although by far not 90%+. Statistics support it. What I gather from the threads is that most men there talk about non-violent rape: they engage in sexual acts out of fear of emotional repercussions. While this is still a valid problem in itself, it's not violent rape which is more male on female. The concept of enthusiastic consent should be balanced by personal agency on both ends.

In my general experience, WW2 boys are very prone to propagating outdated or downright hurtful ideologies and views. WW1 ones are more mature and chill.

I find it hard to believe that there are people who would disagree. Alas, I know that there are.

I like a certain mix of both kinds of traits in a man. The push for maximum masculinity has always seemed a little bit silly to me.

Yes, it does feel like an emotionally charged mantra that is meant for the men who think they have too many responsibilities and not nearly enough authority; every one of them will envision his own troubles and probably come up with his own solution. At least in this video you've linked, Rollo doesn't denote what exactly he understands by responsibilities and authority, doesn't present related cases, and doesn't offer any answers or propositions on how to deal with this issue.

I don't think there's a certain period; all is subjective. Maybe it's easier to track if you feel like you've invested in them emotionally a lot, while they prefer to keep to themselves and mostly spend time with you in the bed.

50/50 here: emotionally distant even after a long time spent together.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/25 05:15 AM

Hard to argue with the first thread wiped out. > if women are neither attracted to male body and not find man attractive? This doesn't seem plausible to me.

Dude, I'm literally saying that this is an example of how the problem could be tackled, not a decisive answer.

A very good answer. With issues like this, you should look on the matter through the lens of political pragmatism first IMO.

I know all of this, but if I say something about it, it would probably get misread as an attack on Ukraine and her people.

We can talk about other countries with conscription. South Korea, Singapore. Both require only men to serve. It is utterly immoral. It's also immoral in the sense that the state views women as a resource just as much; it's just a different kind of a resource, a self-producing one. While men are drafted when necessary, women are guarded to protect "the future of the nation". Simply put, we're all resources to our governments. Poor administration of any resource leads to its untimely depletion (de…

Do you think equality means justice necessarily? As for Ukranian people, I get a really bad taste in my mouth trying to what-if their military situation. We can discuss USA if you want.

It's not entirely the fault of women; however, they have political power now. And what would you have them do with it? This is a fantasy, it's silly. It's also completely impractical. This is why I presented it as an example, as I wrote. I know full well why a country like USA can't afford to keep a full army of hired warbands to match its size. There is the Israel way also - but you'd have to spend a lot of money as well marketing the new law, pushing the social shift, and refitting the army to…

What part of what I said you think is not true? Sorry, I don't know what exactly I'm replying to here :( As for men staying and women leaving - I don't know the stats for Ukraine (but would gladly check if you send them my way), but the catch here is that women are allowed to leave, men aren't. Is this unfair? Somewhat. Can you meaningully fix it now, mid-war? Probably not, you'd have to go full Israel to teach women the basics of army training. But at least some of the women who left could retu…

Most women do, just not in the way you'd expect. If they work, make money, pay taxes, and buy things, they still serve the country by boosting its economy. Well-developed economies let countries buy more weapons, for one. This is simplified though, let me know if you want me to get into details here. These days, the situation on the battlefield should be catastrophic for a government to suddenly begin drafting women. And still it would be a questionable decision, since there are still factories,…

It's alright if it's for Leto II (but afaik most of them were some sort of secret police? Irrelevant probably)
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/25 06:59 AM

You haven't answered my question. I don't think many Ukrainians would want to see their wives die in battle, so I think making draft equal isn't the answer here.

I don't agree that white women can do whatever. We have just as much in terms of social expectations to deal with, you simply don't know about these issues or find them petty, because they're not yours. Are you in Ukraine/from there? I could understand where you come from if so, but honestly - would you rather women served on par with men or your country relied on a professional army, and people like you wouldn't have to serve at all?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/25 06:41 AM

If you don't like conservative standards, then... don't conform to them? Not trying to say that you're wrong for being angered at how men are still required to serve, but is that women's fault? Maybe nobody should serve, and your country should rely on a professional army instead? Again, not presenting this as an end-all be-all answer, but overall, choosing to dunk on women for the principles you've chosen to confrom to is weird.

Actual sex aside, I would like him to speak passionately about what he finds beautiful in me, both physically and in terms of personality. Like, if we're speaking intimacy here, I consider a man's skill with words a very important part of any foreplay. As in, I want him to compliment me as definitevely and descriptively as possible, because some simple things like "you're beautiful" have all been done before. Instead, I want him to tell me why exactly I trigger this carnal reaction in him. It re…

Women aren't a monolith, to reiterate. But we do tend, anecdotally, to expect to know the person at least a bit before engaging in anything else. It's not about dating by default (by which I mean smalltalking over lukewarm lasagna at a local diner), it's about spending valueable time together, maybe in a friend group doing something you all love or at a loud public venue banging your heads to some metal tunes. It doesn't have to count as dating per se, but it's nice to know another person better…

I don't really know if we should conflate the environmental changes and poor economy (by environment we mean nature here, right?). Don't know know about the second argument really, maybe it's more about your regional feauture; overseas it's been more or less the same since post-USSR. As in "motherhood makes you go through hell to reach heaven, but there's a non-zero chance you'll get there without your man". The latter gets better AFAIK but I wish I could show you any recent statistic. I kid you…

Good for them. I agree with healthy economic growth, strong political presence and stable multiculturalism, because I live in 2k25, where only uneducated people are scared of immigrants. If your country isn't able to guide and control the immigration flow for the betterment of its people, don't bring this problem to women, bring this to your government. While the subject is eternally divisive and thus juicy, it's impossible to debate you in good faith because your English is broken even for a di…

I have yet to see a woman who'd say it's those pesky environmental changes that deny her her parenthood. /s Women I do know don't want to be mothers because: A. They are not healthy enough to bear healthy children and survive, and/or not educated well enough in childrearing ways to parent them; B. They don't have stable incomes to pay for themselves and their children in case their main provider falls off, and/or their living abodes aren't fit to house a mother and at least one baby; C. They don…

On a side note, we really should start saying that we do have sexual standards after all, no matter how vague, because some men will never understand how a fitting and genuine personality can make up for "undesirable" physical traits. Yes, even if it hurts some sad fucks. They won't extend similar kindness to you given the chance.

Can you expand your train of thought a little? Because I don't understand how women saying they're asexuals leads them to demonizing male sex drive and, moreover, shooting themselves in the foot. Like... I don't want to twist your meaning, but it's as if you assume women lie about not enjoying sex. They don't really have to. They just didn't enjoy sex with you or won't even imagine you in bed with them. I feel like I need to say that if you _personally_ hear this, not read in some dejected onlin…

There are multiple reasons, here are some from the top of my head. Ancient Athens was quite small in comparison to USA or even Japan, and thus its state brothels were easier to manage and control. They were also easy to supply with seemingly healthy women as the medicine couldn't identify even a fraction of illnesses known to man back then. Athens was also not as progressive as modern USA and Japan, so these days you'd have to rewrite a lot of gender laws and policies to support the same system;…

Yes, marriage here isn't seen as end-all be-all for both women and men (though women are expected to want to marry more). And no, even the most demented Orthodox priests would rather advocate for more intimacy to boost childbirth rates than shame women into perpetual innocence.

While incompetence can certainly be irritating in big doses, I don't really count it as a big woe at my age - I'm not that old and wise and just as incompetent myself in some cases. I don't expect my partner to be my parent or a living guidebook; just let me be incompetent sometimes too. What I am repulsed by is the lack of introspection and self-awareness which leads to unsuccessful communication when they do open up; it feels like a landslide sometimes, as in, I can tell that something is very…

Speaking from another country and another culture - I feel like there is virgin shaming on the women's side, but it takes a subtler form. You can be a virgin, but only as long as you're still obviously attractive and can easily lose the status if you wanted. This way, virginity is associated not with being undesirable, but with higher standards and self-worth, which gets praised in my society. However, if you're unattractive in your peers' eyes, this is definitely a diss.
