Yes I know about this and I'd argue that this is barely belittling. It's a joke about a guy discovering his girlfriend has more of a history than he realised, that's the whole joke. There's definitely more belittling stuff out there like the Gillette ad but I don't see a problem here - I just see a bit of a lame joke used in a TV ad.

bro you really think everyone is on the same wavelength as you? i know a lot of dudes, ive just come out of school and i can tell you there is some heavy intolerance now you cant prove it either way, because this is a personal experience issue and is not something that can be accurately measured. all im saying is, people are blaming feminists for all damage to men when we have to consider the fact there will be and are intolerant men in the population which arent considerate to men who suffer wi…

i see it all the time, growing up as a man with mental health issues i can tell you that intolerance doesnt conform to either gender im legit just saying that its not just women that shit on men with mental health issues, its also other men - this really isnt a crazy idea

im an MRA you fuckwit im just saying that there are men who are intolerant of mens mental health issues - and its not neccessarily JUST a double standards issue alone. is that so hard to understand?

one thing mras do forget that, like feminists and women, there will be intolerant people that share our gender. i know a lot of men who still think emotion in boys is weak and disgusting - we gotta focus on that as well

not about mens rights also factually incorrect; you can legally own guns in the UK if you have a license. In germany and the UK hate speech laws have not changed within the last decade.

I study economics so I know there is a 4-5% unexplained earnings gap between the genders (UK government statistic) - which is not a far left thing to say; but the major difference is its not caused by the patriarchy. Its mostly maternity, as from ages 24-30 women out earn men in the UK but it flips from 32+ onwards.
