Have you ever been told to “man up” or some version of it? That’s what I am talking about.

Depends on the patriarchy. If it demands a certain attitude or set of character traits to determine masculinity then it is toxic, that’s part of the problem. The issues you have laid out are a good start, but completely unachievable if we fail to recognize that we are part of the problem. We can’t demand equality without also living up to our end of the bargain.

But the “man up” culture is ingrained in boys at a very early age, and that is toxic. You’re essentially telling boys that there is a specific set of character traits that define masculinity and if you don’t exemplify those traits than you are some how less of a man. What exactly would be the mission of such on organization? What’s the MR that the mission serves?

I don’t believe that, maybe a tiny group of militants, I think for the most part women just want the same sexual agency men have. I’m only concerned that in the process they aren’t fully aware of how the male ego operates and we are running rough shod over what has been the dominant social hierarchy for millennia without proper introspection

I agree with you. It’s disturbing the conflation of MR with this persecution complex

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
