She Waited 6 WeeksI would like to share a very subtle suggestion that really helped me. If you insist on keeping social media you should unfollow your ex and her new boyfriend if he's on your list. This way the only time you are going to see what she's up to is when you are looking for it. Its subtle but being blind sided by this stuff while mindlessly scrolling makes it hurt more. And as the posters here have already said its been more than 6 weeks. It sucks but focus on you. I promise it gets better. While you … | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/10/21 05:49 PM
Still struggling with thoughts of infidelity. This sounds a lot like what I went through. I posted here a few months ago and got some great answers. Sharing because maybe they can help you too. https://www.reddit.com/r/Divorce_Men/comments/nxjcqq/i_am_not_sure_if_i_was_cheated_on_or_not_but/ The big take away for me was you don't need proof. If YOU feel like you were cheated on then you were. Its YOUR definition that counts. Its so much easy to hide in the uncertainty of what ifs but its so much better to confront it head on take the hit an… | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/09/21 03:04 PM
STBX wants divorce, told me I can keep the house.. please helpI was in a similar situation but my ex was not a STAHM. We didn't get an attorney together (which I think is in her best interest, not yours) but we did go through mediation. I got off pretty easy compared to the stories on this sub with no child support or alimony. She made slightly more than me so I would be the one fighting for it but didn't want to go that route. I knew I was getting a really good deal here however until I had that finalized divorce letter in my hand I wasn't rocking the boa… | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/08/21 01:40 PM
Do the arguments with the ex wife ever stop? After four years the argument today was about me getting them the Covid vaccine. It just never stops, any chance she can attack she does.If you must reply, set a 10 minute time limit when you see a text from her. Don't open it until that time is up. This really slows their momentum and they lose interest in causing trouble. | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/08/21 06:30 PM
I am not sure if I was cheated on or not but still feel like I was. Is it valid to feel that way?Nah he already fucked up his 3 marriages. I guess he needs to go mess with mine now. | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/06/21 01:12 AM
I am not sure if I was cheated on or not but still feel like I was. Is it valid to feel that way?50/50 split was my hill to die on. Compared to the horror stories I've read on this page I couldn't have been more lucky with the clean break I got. | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/06/21 01:11 AM
I am not sure if I was cheated on or not but still feel like I was. Is it valid to feel that way?I love this sub. You guys are seriously the best. | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/06/21 01:09 AM
I am not sure if I was cheated on or not but still feel like I was. Is it valid to feel that way? This is good advice for anyone going through a similar situation but I am happy to say way are way past this step. Divorce has been finalized for months. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/06/21 06:24 PM
I am not sure if I was cheated on or not but still feel like I was. Is it valid to feel that way?My therapist says I was apparently gaslit a bunch. Apparently this caused me to doubt the validity of my own feelings. Either way I have zero interest in making my marriage come back. I suppose it really does not matter in the end. Thank you for the response. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/06/21 06:11 PM
I am not sure if I was cheated on or not but still feel like I was. Is it valid to feel that way?I think this is the way to go honestly. The way you laid it out here makes a lot of sense. Co parenting is my big worry. I don't want to subconsciously project anything onto our child and have them resent my ex in someway. I have been to therapy the last few months siting this as my biggest concern. I have been on the self improvement path since I moved out and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/06/21 06:08 PM
