Thank you! I’m super happy with it. I always feel well-groomed now. It really helps my confidence - especially as a big girl.

I had a lift with my reduction and it brought that perky shape right back! So definitely consider that route.

I have a routine of having a “beauty night” on Wednesday’s and Sundays. I will use a face mask and do an oil treatment in my hair, body scrub and shave body hair, re-do pedicure as necessary. I get my brows and upper lip threaded every 3 weeks. Haircut every three months and bayalage highlights once a year. I’m quite pedantic about washing my face properly every night. I use an oil based cleanser to remove makeup, regular cleanser after that and then a mild scrub. I do this every single night no…

Thank you for breaking this down for me. This made perfect sense. Bookmarking it for future reference.

I don't think she's whining like a harpy. I think she's being realistic. Our looks will fade - so we better be working on bringing other things to the table. That's where the "wisdom, kind heart" stuff comes in. Realistically. At 35 I'm better looking than I was at 25 (better style and I finally learned about skin care) but I won't at 45. So while I'm slapping on that sunscreen I'm also trying to improve my insides. I think this lady is trying to convey the same thing but didn't word it so well.

Can you recommend any specific brands? There are so many to choose from!

This is the most ridiculous post I have ever seen on this sub. No one laughs at men having their penis cut off unless they are really sick in the head. And sex is important to women too. Low quality post.

Bless your heart if you think anyone here is impressed by you or cares enough to google you.

I get what you're saying. I think people are just thrown off by your use of alpha. A high quality woman who is desired, valued and respected by men rather than cheated on and used - is that what you mean by alpha woman?

This is RPW. Don't be a condescending asshole here. "Google you"? GtFO with that ego.

I couldn't make head or tails of what he was saying. It's not concrete at all.

The really great thing is that you have a diagnosis and meds that work AND self awareness. I encourage to stick to your med regime like your life and all your future happiness depend on it because it does. I know it sounds trite but finding an enjoyable me way to move your body goes a very long way to supporting mental health. Do that a lot. Keep taking your meds as prescribed and get whatever other help you need. In another year your life will be so much better than you can imagine right now.

Well, I'll never be petite. I have an athletic build. When I fit into size 10 jeans I had low enough body fat % to have visible abs. So going for curvy is realistic for me. I want to be actually curvy - not curvy as a euphemism.

I have little patience for men who whine or people who complain about the same thing all the time and make no effort to change it. Honestly - I don't know if that's worthy of breaking up but I feel your frustration for sure. I would have a very blunt discussion about how his complaining is affecting you. You're at this point - so that's pretty bad. He's not acting like a captain right now.

I was fat. Not Tess level but still obese. But I told myself I was thick and curvy. I wasn't thick and curvy I was fat.

The lie that I told myself was that it's ok to be fat. I should be loved for me. I was thick and pretty and "fierce goddess". RedPill pretty much smacked me upside the head. I've started eating better (and less) and I've renewed my commitment to fitness. The man I am interested is strong and fit. Basically an Adonis. How can I expect a man like that when I'm obese and eating Doritos on the couch?

You already have your mind made up and nothing we can say will change it. Staying home with our kids was a huge sacrifice financially - but 1000% worth it.

As an addict myself - no no no. His drug of choice will always be his first and true love. It's hypocritical but I would never choose another addict for a partner. Rock bottom can get reeeeealllly low. My advice is to end things graciously and keep looking.

I used to feel the same way! Then chronic illness turned me into a "comfort at all costs" person which meant a daily uniform of leggings, soft t shirts and hoodies. I felt extremely frumpy at this stage. Then I realized that casual cotton t shirt dresses are actually INCREDIBLY comfortable and make looking put together - a snap. Maybe t shirt dresses aren't your thing and that's ok but I encourage you to try some some soft casual dresses and see how comfortable and low-effort they can be. A pair…

Fair enough! Do you think your MIL would be more helpful with specific instructions regarding meals and diapers (although she really shouldn't need you to spell this out 🙄) - she would be more helpful for you?

Can you hire a postpartum doula? This is what they are trained for! I'm a postpartum doula and I love caring for c section clients. You definitely need some more hands on support. You might be able to find a certifying doula who will help for low cost or free in exchange for some experience and references. If you don't feel comfortable with this option I would enlist the help of friends with specific tasks ( a day of childcare or prepared meals for example). I would also look into a weekly clean…

You realize the hen is the female right? You literally could have said "looking for a cock" but you said "looking for a hen." By the way your game sounds bizarre and I can't see it working.

I come with a long and passionate history of feminism too. Swallowing the red pill (still working on it) has turned my world into complete chaos. But I'm staying here cause I see the truth in it, even if stings. Especially when it stings. As a fat woman - the red pill has been a huge wake up call. I am responsible for my weight. I am now committed to dropping 50-60 pounds and getting fit. I used to have a hot body, I'm committed to getting it back. I'm learning to be more poised. I am raising my…
