I need way more context When I did martial arts as a kid, there was always times when instructors/ older kids or adults would use more force! Super fun, get kicked around but you get better over time. Probably something similar to that

A lot of people just aren't prepared to become parents properly I feel. As a child I did activities 5/7 days a week, sometimes more, and my parents always pushed me to develop hobbies and good morals but many of my friends had parents who just put the in front of a screen (2000 gen kids) and many had divorced/ remarried parents. Just makes me excited to have my own kids and bring them up how my mum and dad (once he left the army and was around more tho I always loved him) did

I think you just had a bad experience really. I am a female and my mum raised me mostly bc my dad was in the army and I did so many things like this! Shooting, rock climbing, army cadets, martial arts, adventure camps with scouting, horse riding (it is dangerous and I will argue that with anyone lol), and unless I was bleeding no injury really counted. I hate to be that person but NAWALT

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
