...and the OP who very well may be slapped with alimony.

They are completely baseless claims, but sadly, there's a good chance a divorce court would believe her, just the way all the commenters are. Remember the "Raise your hand if you believe her" meme that circulated the internet during the Kavanaugh hearing before all the facts and evidence were even out?

The sad part is that despite how crazy she shows herself to be (whether it's all made up or whether she actually did cheat 21 times and believe his upset at her is abuse, it's crazy either way)... all of the other commenters quickly defend her and call him an abuser. Her unacceptable behavior is completely brushed off. And she is worried about her future but repeats her own mistakes.

30 years in an abusive marriage and she didn't find a single opportunity to leave? Staying in a marriage for the sake of kids isn't the case, considering they only last 18 years. ...Smells fishy to me.

The good boys aren't hiding! They're right in front of you. You've been swiping left on them the past several years because they weren't hot enough. ...if you haven't figured that out by the time you've reached your 40s, are you ever going to figure that out?

Why so negative towards lesbians? Good grief! If she's not interested in women, fine, just ignore them. No need to be profane about it. And frankly she should take it as a compliment if women message her. I've been approached by gay men before, and although I turn them down, it's still a compliment for me. With two babies and not looking for someone to f*** she would probably have better luck with a lesbian anyway.

Being physically beaten up would have been better, frankly. At least it would only be once, and after a few weeks I'd heal. Well, like I said lesson learned. I recently realized that my ex would probably recognize my reddit user name. I wonder if I should create a new one... or if I should just keep posting/commenting on this sub and see if she ever reacts 😆

Well, I was bankrupted, accused of cheating, actually cheated on, cut off from my family and friends, falsely accused of being abusive, had my life ruined, etc. ...so I wasn't physically beaten up, but I sure as hell learned my lesson. Does that count?

It seems so foolish to post pictures of your children on a dating profile... even more foolish that it's Tinder, a hookup-based app. Even more foolish that it's young girls who, as you say, are at risk of being molested by creeps who could easily find her (e.g. pretending to be nice and arranging a date). facepalm on that

Women always use biology as an excuse for their preferences. So here you go! Men are entitled to our preferences too! And age is one of them. You mean it's a two-way street?? They can be choosy about height, we can be choosy about age? What a novel concept!

Oh look! We found a NiceGirlTM, who writes "fuck you" after being called her on her BS. If the genders were reversed, this would be on r/niceguys ...but apparently we can't complain about NiceGirls because "women have to put up with that all the time" (I was actually given that line once). From the tone I get, it kinda sounds like she was trying to trap the previous men with a baby. Oh okay. I don't have any experience with horses, so I guess I never really thought of it that way. I have a dog, and the cost of dog food isn't too bad. But he is only 40 pounds, not 2000... I sometimes buy him a few bones and toys, but no fancy equipment or anything. And I am shocked by vet bills sometimes, and again that's just a dog. Then there's a also trailer and a big truck, etc. So yea, I am sure it's costly for owning a horse. Not to mention probably equally or more work as a dog. I per…

Hm... Maybe I'll wait a few years to see if the deal gets any better. Maybe when the kid is school-age, her mom will start offering incentives for somebody to take her away. In the meantime, at least mom's basement is out of everyone's way, and it's not too likely she'll go anywhere.

I hope I don't get kicked off this sub for defending her, but honestly of all the WAATGM dating profiles, I don't think this one is that bad. She uses the "beautiful little girl who is my world" and the "I'm not hear to play bullsh*t games" lines, which are a bit of a turn-off (especially with incorrect spelling). But on the other hand, she has a job, so she is doing something with her life and not just sitting on the couch living on state support/alimony/child support. Living with her mom is no…

I've ended up "matching" with quite a few of those webcam girls on Tinder. I eventually learned to recognize them -- notably by the profile asking you to message them on instagram -- and ignore them from the start.

Actually, I just realized that at 42, the other person could be her daughter. Which is even weirder to use as a Tinder pic. I mean, "Oh I swiped on you because your daughter is cute" ....yeah that's weird.

Well I would also say that marriage was the biggest mistake I ever made. But I wouldn't call myself "happily divorced." I'm not happy about it in the first place. I am happy to be free and on my own and away from my controlling ex who stomped on me and treated me like dirt, but I'm not happy about the situation. But it's still recent. Maybe in a few years I'll feel differently.

Feel free to shame me :P I'm an incel just for being a member of this sub, riiiiight? Oh and who the hell says they are "happily divorced" anyway? I have never heard anyone say that. The only reason for her to say that is that she got a damn sweet deal in the divorce, e.g. he is paying her good money in alimony.

Even if 5 kids were born exactly 9 months apart, the first would have been born at 17. I'd say maybe she mistyped and said she's a mother of 5 when she meant to say mother of a 5 year old... but a 21yo mother of a 5 year old isn't much better...

I'm not sure whether I'm being hypocritical complaining that she slandered me on a website's subforums, and now I'm writing about her on a Reddit sub writing about her... although the difference is that what I'm saying is just what happened and fact. The things she said on that website are just completely absurd and made-up. For instance, she said that I'm bipolar (I'm not, wtf), of many other completely inaccurate things.

On that babycenter website of hers, the anti-male sentiment is so strong that the women on there outright say that they don't care if divorced dads end up living in the street. And yep, she did everything to the textbook with the false abuse allegations, etc.

Well the main one being that she wanted to get married within 3 months of meeting her (although she is from a Mormon family, and that skewed view on marriage is apparently normal for them). She constantly talked about it and convinced me to get engaged. Then when we were engaged, we moved in together. I worked and went to school while she sat around doing nothing. The ring is the least of my worries right now, honestly. And I think technically it was given to her, thus owned by her, before the marriage, therefore it's her property after the divorce.

IMO they're all the same nowadays. Okcupid has the "Double-take" feature. Match, InnerCircle... they're all swipe/appearance based. There's no difference, really, and they're just different platforms to do the same thing

My now ex wife actually did a very similar thing... When I proposed to her, I gave her a very nice diamond ring. It was small and oval shaped. Looked pretty to me. A few days later she started complaining that she didn't like the shape, it was too small compared to the band, etc. I eventually went in and exchanged it for another (more expensive diamond), and then she was happy. I was so stupid for ignoring such a red flag. There were numerous other red flags, too, where I should have called off …

I've noticed a thing about Tinder and all of those other dating apps. I've been on and off of them for about a year now, and after deleting my account and creating a new one several months later, I see all of the same girls on there. Some of them are lazy profiles (e.g. empty profiles, just an emoji, or cliche "looking for a partner in crime"). Some of them have a laundry list of things they want. Many of them say "Looking for a relationship, no hookups." Some of them will actually match with me…

I think the most ridiculous form of politics in Tinder is "Trump supporters swipe left" ...I'm not a Trump supporter, but I usually swipe left on those girls. Personally, I'm not going to judge someone solely based on who they voted for, and I'm not going to refuse to date someone because of their political opinion. I'd prefer to date someone who at least has an open enough mind to talk to people with differing opinions from theirs and are willing to listen to and understand other people's opini…

Interesting comments from everyone. I didnt know that abuse and divorce rate was so high among police and military. Maybe we could give her the benefit of the doubt and speculate that maybe she was in an abusive relationship with a serviceman or cop.
