Actually I said there isn't an ethical choice IF one is opposed to abortion. And, yes I find it unfortunate and would prefer a better way than compromising on this highly controversial ethical issue. As of now I'd live with the compromise rather than raising a THOT. Anyone else here rather raise a boy than a girl?

Of course not. This seems to have become an abortion debate thread. The issue with the plan is obviously there isn't an ethical way to ensure its a boy if one is opposed to abortion. Yet abortion based on gender happens all the time. Unfortunately so. If one is opposed, I suppose do not abort, and let the girl be adopted.

It would be preferable if gender can be determined earlier. If you preferred a son, how would you go about it though? I do not really have a stance on abortion. If at all I would say it should be done quickly after conception.

Which part is illegal? You mean aborting female fetuses? How could anyone verify the reason for the abortion? I suppose a deal could be made that I pay a significant bonus if it's a boy. I am not Asian but in China for some reason there are about 80 million girls missing. Aborted based on gender.
