Just going to do the bachelor thing for a while. The first week after I walked away was by far the best sleep I have had in years. No treading on egg shells, no worrying about what I would say that could where I was going and what I was doing. The next six months were an education, absolutely no regrets. Finding whom I am and what I like has been fantastic. Enjoy every moment. | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/04/20 07:39 AM
Fade 🥺Absolutely write it down. It really helps a great deal. It takes a while and is very hard to do. Be 100% honest with everything that bought this to a head. Open, frank and clear. You'll feel better and be able to make some progress. Good luck | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/04/20 07:35 AM
How to leave wife?I did a terrible job of it. 18 years marriage (21 years together) and then when she came home one Monday evening I told her that I wasn't happy and that it was over. I had moved my stuff out to a freinds place. The issue was that I had already mentally left the marriage years before. I was unloved, no intimacy I was treated as an Atm, dog walker and house mate. My delivery was poor, cold and unemotional. It is still the best thing I could have done for me. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/04/20 12:27 PM
When to move on? M, 48, sexless marriageYou are neither bad nor selfish. I was married for 16 years in a sexless marriage. I too felt my wife maybe a lesbian ( not that it's an issue) i would instigate sex and be pushed away made to feel dirty and unloved. I ceased to approach her in order to protect myself from the hurt. You'll find someone else whom will light your world. Get yourself a lawyer and talk through your feelings with your wife and extricate yourself from this loveless marriage. There is a wonderful life waiting for you, … | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/01/20 06:03 AM
Did anyone here divorce over a sexless marriage?I've been here. You deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. I stopped initiating because I felt awful afterwards. There is a great life waiting for you. You just need to make that move. Get a lawyer, and start living. I wish you well. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/12/19 05:44 AM
