I fucking HATE feminism as much as the next rational guy, but this ad makes sense. Mom wastes all her time playing mobile games, but dad is too busy...you know... overworking himself to death, providing for the family, that he isn't really skilled at a mobile game.

Well, not directly, I will agree. However, and unfortunately, the possibility that he would probably be accused, and possibly charged with assault, or whatever she might have accused him of, that possibility is all to real in the case that nobody is there to document the situation. Showing how women act in ways that go against the feminist narrative of "Men evil, women victims" will help to protect men against false accusations, hopefully. I severely doubt that the public would have nothing to say if the female Uber driver didn't press charges. They would be claiming "internalized misogyny". Also, what business is if of anyone's to comment on anything? This happened in public, was recorded, and the video was distributed to the public. People are going to talk about it. What happens in public is the business of whomever wishes to comment upon it.

This reminds me of how a friend brought up the "pink tax", and how it oppressed women. She argued that despite having the same ingredients, women's products were more expensive (which is untrue, many women's products add ingredients specifically for women). To this I answered, why not buy the men's product, if it is identical? I mean... You don't have to conform to gender roles, right? I was quickly blocked.

You've apparently never done something on principle. What the gym is doing is wrong, period. It is a binary, wrong or right. Sure, it's just an hour. But for a man who is only avaliable at that time, it potentially reduces his workout time substantially. Plus, where does one draw the line? Point is that you don't have to put up with anything that is illegal, regardless if others hand wave it dismissively, because they can't be bothered to empathize.

I see all that, but it's fantasy. This is not our world. It is barbarism. Feminists today are talking about how patriarchy is normalized in our society. All the men were evil? Mad Max, the hero, and the one dude who joined them were good. I know a feminist was involved in the production, but I think the feminism claims are people looking for it instead of using their rationality. I am against feminists as much as the next guy, but some people go overboard, on both sides.
