Meds affect things quite a bit. To be clear, I'm being completely supportive. Ordinarily I'd try and get a babysitter and take her on a nice date. Can't do that with covid situation right now. I'm sure we'll get there.

1 and 2 certainly make sense. I'm not angry at all though - I'm excited. There's certainly enough to be working with 1 and 2 though.

Are you annoyed I specifically didn't thank you for what you wrote?

I can see how you arrived at the first point, but for reasons I don't need to bore you with, she wasn't initially keen on having a second child once we knew she was pregnant. I'll not fight you on the "convince yourself that you're the shit because you got laid before the sex "unexpectedly" stopped" point. Yeah - totally drunk on a little bit of hot sex. You're also totally right with regards the vision. I don't know who I am or want to be and I need to work that out. The vision is bland and I p…

That's a great question. I'm genuinely not bothered by her making decisions, I just want to ensure I don't end up doing a load of crap I don't want to do. If you asked me that question 5 months ago, my answer would have been different - I'd have been rambo-ing rapidly sobering up captain throwing butthurt everywhere.

Physical I'm 5"11", 72Kg/158lbs (down from 73Kg). 17% bodyfat Navy method (my scales are just plain wrong in their calcs). In addition, I do bicep curls, core work, press-ups and pullups three times per week. I have persevered with lifting at home u…

I totally see elements of my journey in this post, particularly with regards to sex. I too saw the improvements in my body but had to (still have to) remember that SMV lags behind changes when it comes to your wife. Just keep it moving in the right direction. I found myself noting that I am developing a six pack today and thinking “man, this is fucking cool” and NOT “I hope this makes my wife want to fuck me now”. I was thinking about my value to myself and not her value of me. Hopefully you’ll …

With regards the bodyfat, it' the impedence scales I've got being inaccurate I think. I've always suspected they're trying to fat shame me but have reasoned it was better to be conservative. I'm mainly focussing on the direction of travel. My abs are starting to show, so I'm probably sub 20%. Thanks for the comment. You're totally right. I've read some books and am trying to lay it all out at once. Idiot. Just need to grind for a while.

OYS#3 Previous: OYS#2 Background Age: 35. Married to wife (35) for over 9 years; together for 11. One 3yo daughter. Physical I'm 5"11", 72Kg/158lbs (down from 73Kg). 20.3% bodyfat - no change there so I need to better build muscle to shift weight loss onto fat. The gym closing has messed with me, as I used to enjoy HIIT and the machines, but hey ho, life is hard and then you die. Maybe this has forced some focus. Still doing Strong lift 5x5 this week up to 5 times per week from 3, B 37.5 kg (up …

OYS #2 (the first was pretty shit, so maybe we should treat this as the first) Background Age: 35. Married to wife (35) for over 9 years; together for 11. One 3yo daughter. Physical I'm 5"11", 73Kg/160lbs. The scales say I'm 20.5% bodyfat, but I think that's a lie (I can see my emerging 6 pack). Either way, it's the direction of travel that's important (down from 27%). My goal is 15%, because then I want to properly bulk. The gym closing has messed with me, as I used to enjoy HIIT and the machin…

Stats 35 years old. Wife (35), married 9 years and together 11. Daughter (3 year old). Red Pill since August 2019. Reading: NMMNG, Saving a Low Sex Marriage, MMLP, Way of the Superior Man. Still working through. Physical Weight: 77Kg, 23% bodyfat (highest weekly measure from bathroom scales). I dicked around with dumbbells and barbells at home Aug-Nov, but finally manned-up and joined a gym late Nov. Gym: I go 6 times per week religiously and have done since the end of November. I do HIIT three …
