| 1 | Found in r/Feminism - somebody speaking the truth gets downvoted because it doesn’t co-enside with their opinions on the woman who CONTRIBUTED to the black hole project.I honestly try to stay off most social media so I only saw maybe one picture of her. I can understand that's definitely not what happens to men. I think my only problem is seeing so many people say "it's not JUST her" and like you said, saying she played a minor role... maybe I'm just seeing people diminish her, but not what it was in response to, people 'lionising" her, so I can understand where you're coming from. | 1 | Being a white male as a scientist is actively disadvantaging my career.I know this is late and pointless to say but seriously, you don't know me. I'm not trying to put myself into the center of victimhood, that's ridiculous. I would say men and women have different but often equally shitty things to deal with. It's not a war between genders. I think when highlighting the inequalities men experience, let's not try to disrespect women in the process. If a woman said something similar and referred to men as dicks or another negative term I would've 100% said the same … | /r/MensRights | 15/11/18 10:48 PM |
