So called primitive societies do not allow people to hoard wealth while others starve. You never answered that one, did you? ;) Even your beloved Chimps at least try. "Primitive" hunter-gatherer bands have a strong tendency toward trying to help the weak. Call it love. What does it mean when you oppose helping others? Call it hate. Or worse, indifference. Call it the Egyptian Pharaohs or the capitalist clowns. As much as possible -- but no more than that. I guarantee Karen that you would love th…

"Mansplaining" is unquestionably one of the dumbest words ever created. But hey it's in the Oxford dictionary so...perhaps humanity was a failed experiment? Edit: I mean that seriously. Perhaps it's time for us to die and let some other animal climb the evolutionary ladder. We had a good run but we failed miserably.

Feminism existed in ancient babylon. Read JD Unwin. And the impetus for first wave feminism was provided by biologists. In point of fact most first wave feminists were rich Christian ladies. They went on to spearhead the prohibition movement. Second wave feminists were mostly lesbian quacks given cash by the Ford and Rockefeller foundations. That's just the basic history, there's no denying it. This is not to say that Marxists didn't play a role, they clearly did. I'm not a Marxist. But Marx's i…

lol this has nothing whatsoever to do with "Marxism." The Witch hunt is caused by feudalism! The Witch hunt is caused by alchemy! The Witch hunt is caused by Witches! Um, no it isn't, this is a standard moral panic that predates Marxism and most other isms by an awful long time. Stop listening to Rush Limbaugh and read a book.

The "equal outcome" myth is common when discussing SJW's but I see little evidence for it. Feminists are not asking for equal workplace deaths, equal sentencing or equal parenting rights. And feminist politicians are certainly not asking for equal pay with the men who keep their lights on and their toilet flushing or the women who do their nails and clean their houses. I understand where the myth came from -- SJW's claim to want eg an equal number of women in STEM and politics and a few other fi…

There's actually an interesting argument to be made that Shakespeare the actor did not write the plays attributed to him. Quite a few great authors including Walt Whitman, Mark Twain and Henry James took this view. The most recent figure put forth as actual author is Henry Neville. There is zero evidence that Bassano was "Shakespeare" however.

Well said. It's an amazing irony that modern feminists seem hell bent on affirming the worst stereotypes about women (hysteria, irrationality, damselling, failing to take responsibility for one's actions etc.) while non-feminist women are doing the opposite. Too bad the latter group hasn't organized into an effective political lobby.

No. You were perfectly reasonable. That thread is a good example of why it's useless to argue with feminists unless you have an audience that can potentially be swayed. You may as well try arguing with creationists about evolution. I've noticed what the feminists there are talking about: men are becoming increasingly outspoken and indeed -- angry. It started with "not all men". Feminists rejected that idea and insisted all men were to blame for their problems. Then men said "men suffer too: here…
