That's a pretty rough deal you got. My thoughts are you need to demand a raise, start siphoning off accounts, start your own business and go back to court. Maybe change venues? I'm in San Diego and feeling like my judge is very fair. Maybe consult a few lawyers. What's up with the lifestyle disparity? Could her family gifts be considered income? My judge said something to that effect once. I'm a year into the process. Bankrupt with no end in site

Wish you could stay out of court with so little to fight over. As long as you agree with each other shouldn't hurt too bad

I hear you on this one brother. I went to the courthouse a lot before I hired anyone. I met with the free legal help they have in California, and some of them are GOOD. I am sick of reading billing statements with $5000 in lawyers sending each other freaking emails. But, every time we are in court, my attorney destroys hers. And it's worth it to me to have him do that talking. Maybe you can find someone who will do " limited scope" that would be ideal. If your area has free legal help and you ha…

Man, I came here looking for this. Such a big town, hard to know who might actually be a strong choice.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
