Your attractiveness and intimidating demeanor is an excellent way to screen out guys that would likely just waste your time anyway. It's a natural gift and will serve your interests if you trust yourself.

Shit I hope I didn't overqualify myself here... Haha. What sort of questions do you mean?

And there's absolutely nothing that could be "favorite" about a treadmill. Definitely not enough to outweigh the general aversion people have of accidentally communicating interest. Girls in gyms are VERY careful not to send signals they don't want to send.

OP did, and it's pretty common in commercial gyms. There's generally 5-6 rows of 15-20 ellipticals in any Gold's Gym.

It's a subtle indication of interest. A the very least, she's clearly not uncomfortable in his proximity, which is actually saying alot.

Nobody has a favorite treadmill in the middle of a row of 15.

I am an extremely consistent gym goer for the last 12 years. I do think this was flirting. This does not happen. People usually go so far as to split the distance to find the machine or space as far from anyone else as possible.

Putting too much stock into the things people say about themselves is a common mistake. Watch what people do, it often contradicts what they say.

I'm a long time gym regular and I'm going to start waving at people. 🤣

I'm astonished that this has received so many upvotes as there's really no substance at all. OP talks about "important factors at play" body language, permission to touch. Mother fucker she invited you to her house off a dating app. She wanted to fuck you, end of story. Do not kid yourself thinking you seduced her. "Alot of stuff I said would probably have been quite creepy if she didn't find me attractive...". This is literally the only "factor at play".

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
