For absolute sure. I've talked to so many other women (I'm just going to use that gender - I'm enby, but in this instance I'm being effected as a woman would be due to the current dynamics of our relationship) who are really upset at losing their longtime friend and companion, but they don't feel any other choice but to leave. I will grieve the loss of my husband for a long time. I don't know that I ever loved him the way I should have for marriage, but I've always cared deeply for him and I wil…

A lot of things have happened. It was neither an easy nor a quick decision as I have known and cared about him for a good 20+ years. The unfortunate truth is that untreated trauma has frozen him in a teenage mindset. He won't seek or accept help, so he just continues to shoot himself in the foot. He has untreated ADHD with terrible rejection sensitivity dysphoria (RSD), and mixed with his emotional immaturity this comes out as verbal / emotional abuse. On top of all of that he can be erratic and…

I think it just tells one part of the story. Well, yeah, what I'm trying to say is that it's extremely nuanced, and all these big proclamations these people make just don't work in reality. How do you explain very attractive guys with mediocre personalities and mediocre careers sleeping with endless attractive women & also never being single? Abusive dating and relationship tactics, mostly. Like my current husband, they usually don't really show their full character until they are well embedded …

I shared it with a friend and he said you were spot on. I'll try to keep an eye out for updates!

I'm not disagreeing with any of that to be honest, but I still wouldn't call it 80 / 20, and I'm not someone that thinks a person needs to ascend the dating or sex ladder at any preconceived rate. I think way too many people get angsty about this stuff when they are young, not realizing just how unstable a lot of us are at that stage of our lives - certainly not suitable partners. I dont necessarily it's even bad that people are dating older. I know too many examples, and those examples know too…

Well, first off I note he mentions that young girls are commiting suicide at a higher rate, so it's really weird that he's more focused on boys dating, but... Whatever. I don't see how young men choosing not to look for dates has anything to do with what I said.

If 80% of women were aiming for 20% of the men, no exceptions, the competition would be rediculously fierce. Worse than who wants to marry a millionaire worse.

This. Science is sexy to the right people. If it isn't sexy to the people he's interested in, then he's interested in the wrong people.

For an autistic person socializing seven days a week might be asking too much, as an autistic person. But certainly joining clubs or activities that align with his interests and just meeting people would do wonders. I don't think Manosphere men understand what a boon it can be just being friends with girls. If you show you are a decent human being that respects each woman as an individual it's pretty likely that one gal friend will introduce you to other women. Because so many of us look out for…

Trust me, the 7 figure earner neurosurgeons with 150 publications are not sleeping with or dating hot women all the time. I would imagine that they don't have time. Good lord, it's bad enough that some of you crazy doctors don't sleep on a normal schedule, I couldn't imagine what it would be like if these percentages are true. You'd have woman fighting to the literal death to get one of the few chosen men.

I follow a whole slew of them personally, because I want to know who's out there and what tactics they are using. Plus, I'm always curious about things that make my head explode.

It just takes time, friend. And putting yourself out there: again, like by joining a club or group activity. If you're just working out and hitting the books but not interacting with people, then that's the problem, not dating in general. I get that it can be really intimidating going from a small pond to a big pool, but, like I said, you're still sooooo young. As long as you put yourself out there and start making friends, you will meet a lot of women naturally. If you have bad social anxiety y…

it's how it is I think you are mistaking your worldview to be everyones. Most men actually like women. They like to talk to them and they like to hang out with them, even (gasp) if they aren't going to get laid. I'm sorry that you haven't experienced this and worried that your worldview will keep you from experiencing it in the future. If you're dating someone who is actually a good fit for you, the date should be fun. Too many people are more concerned with what their date looks like and not co…

That's just setting yourself up to fail, man. Particularly when you're in school still. You can make progress as you go, at the speed that you're able. But I'll tell you, I personally could care less how my SO is built. I could care less what sex or gender they are. I could care less if they have a huge penis or a small clit, or if they even like sex. I've been with an asexual man before, and it was the best relationship I ever had. You're so, so, so young. I'm 38 now and about to leave my husba…

I really don't know. The people there are usually laughing at Incels, but you do see the occasional incel troll pestering people.

Excellent! I knew it existed and that Incel.is was something. Hope to see what you do with the information in the future! Incel culture needs to go away. Far, far away.

I know they're still posting pictures from there, so maybe ask on that sub. I really only watch, I don't track them down, but some definitely do there.

Men approach, put in all the effort, the whole dating and sex is for the benefit of the woman If that's how you feel about dating.. why even bother? You don't have to. Men typically enjoy dating and sex. Edit: this attitude of having to be a dancing dog that pays is exactly why I will never allow a first date to pay for me. Ugh. I'm so tired of this bull.

Well, if women have a higher value to men, and men are setting that value, then men are both above and below that value. Above because they decided it, below because they set their own value low. Women.. it depends. I don't think it's as monilithic as you're portraying here. I have met tons of women that prefer men just... In general. To hang out with as well as to date. I think this is just a lot more nuanced than you're giving it credit for.

Ah yes, working in elder care gets interesting sometimes because the golden oldies like to get frisky. And the ones with dementia like to get weird frisky (not suggesting anyone try to date someone with dementia, Chris-chan tried that and it did not end well). Dementia really eats away at the inhibitions, though. You may see things straight out of a German scat flick. Do not recommend .05/100.

For myself, I really appreciate women who tell me right up front that they are not interested, that I don't meet their standards, or they are homosexual, or whatever. It is admirable, IMO, that are willing to be honest rather than letting me waste my money, time, attention, and affection on a woman who would inevitably be an inferior, undesirable, unattractive option as a partner - for me. I want to add to this from a woman's perspective. Or enby perspective, but I've only ever dated as a woman …

The most common are going to be the most basic: kindness, sincerity, empathy, intelligence, and humor come immediately to mind. My biggest goal in a relationship is to feel safe, secure, and loved.

Good on you for acknowledging it! Now you can work on it! I was horrible at it for a long time, I had to re-train my brain to ask more questions, and I still catch myself wanting to think something without sufficient proof. I'm sure it'll be a lifelong task, but it's worth it!
