I mentioned this, but thanks for repeating it, I'm glad you understand. As I also mentioned, as an insurance company, you would know that they would HAVE to have your product, so why wouldn't you charge them as much as possible? The only competition is other insurance companies, and all those companies overcharge too, so it works out.

it's actually good business. they charge children less money to see a movie, is it discrimination? women's clothes are general more expensive, is it discrimination? most restaurants operate in the daytime, are they discriminating against nocturnal people? seatbelts generally come down from right to left, are they discriminating against left handed people? google's primary front page is english, are they discriminating against every other language? laptops are generally manufactured with a qwerty…

uh, you need insurance to drive legally, so as the owner of an insurance company, wouldn't you charge people as much as possible, seeing as how they need to have insurance either way? they charge more to make more, they aren't really great about ethical business.
