1	False Positives Never post here but super interested in your reading of the book. I thought he was mainly trying to address the dominant philosophical maxim of the time which is life is pointless (in a cosmic sense) therefore life is needless suffering by saying that while things may be pointless in a cosmic sense you can at least enjoy it and the presupposed idea that pointless activities are by definition suffering isn't true.
