Not once, not a single time did I say I was glad that people were mutilated. You obviously are reading your own anger into my comment. I said I was glad that our society prefers a circumcised penis. More specifically, the aesthetic of it, because I mean, that’s really the only factor that would lead people to have such a preference. Plus, I explicitly qualified my comment by saying that we should stop the practice and set a new societal standard, because then young people will grow up around it …

Do I think they’re entitled to their own subjective choice to adhere to societal norms in order to feel “normal”? Absolutely. That’s their own intimate choice. I agree wholeheartedly. Although, from my own selfish personal perspective, I can’t help but be glad our society/generation was made to think it was normal. If you asked anyone aged 18-40 in the U.S. they would most likely say they prefer to have/have sex with a circumcised penis. Obviously we can change that for the next generation and they won’t know the difference. But for our generation, I’m glad I don’t have to walk around feeling like I have an undesirable, mutilated penis.
