I'd buy an electric motorcycle today if I could swap batteries while out. I understand this adds weight, but having options beyond a single charge or thumb twiddling while you wait for even the fastest battery breaking chargers keeps me on ICE.

It's sad that a decent sized car payment worth of support sounds inexpensive compared to most of what I read here.

Unlike AWALT, motorcycles and gear are such individual choices. I wear Joe Rocket and have Yamaha bikes but neither of those could be for you. Everything from electric to vintage, from leather to mesh. Budget is a factor (a huge one for me since I have both a personal and company car so the two wheels are for kicks). I financed the R3 because like half you bastards I still have credit to rebuild after a messy divorce, but I also make enough to have it paid off in six months. You can buy an old t…

I used to hate Ford, but my hand me down Focus made it over 200,000 miles without a single issue before I donated it to Click and Clack. (Charity donation)

That's exactly what I do, I spent $4000 on a new (but year old on the floor) Yamaha R3. It's not terribly fast and it doesn't even get particularly good gas mileage but it's fun to cruise the back country on. It's a sports style bike so you can really lean in the corners if the mood strikes. If you don't live near curvy roads I would suggest a small cruiser. Those forward pegs are comfy. My MSF course was completed on a small 125 cc Kawasaki cruiser. My Yamaha felt so different with the pegs alm…

Check the used bike listings, there are always divorce sales or people upgrading. If you're not afraid to work on your own bike it's not that expensive.

Make sure you have money for decent gear as well. The Calamari Race Team has enough members. Don't let the guys on liter bikes influence you, even a starter bike can be a blast and unless you're able to ride on a track you'll be fighting speeding tickets on anything bigger than a 250. The one exception would be for long distance rides, getting blown all over the road on a small displacement bike gets old.

I'm an avid gun owner (I own a shit ton) but I've been thinking we need to tie reproductive and gun rights together. It's either all our nothing, no conceal carry means no abortion. I also happen to think men should automatically be given full custody until they have a choice on paternity. Let's see how women like paying for child support (and men using the support they receive on ammo and fishing lures the way current women buy purses). The reality is, men would be far more responsible across t…

Start small, start used, but before you get anything bite that bullet and take the MSF class. I bought a bike and rode for a year before taking the class but I should have listened to everyone and taken the course first. You'll also need about $1500 for decent gear. You can save a few bucks here and there but really it's better to just start with something that will actually protect you when (not if) you eventually crash. Motorcycles are a little like women in that you're almost guaranteed to be…

It's like the difference of watching a movie versus being in the movie. When it's cold and rainy I'm happy to hop in my car, but if the weather is even remotely reasonable I'm leaning into the kind of curves. Curves that are free from disease and hashtags.

I get what you're saying, I have 30+ years of being that helpful neighbor that keeps a floor jack and jump starter cables in his trunk. Helping others not only feels good but society as a whole works far better when people aren't self centered. Just ask yourself how many times a woman has been the one to make the small sacrifice of time and effort to make your day a little better. If you can honestly say that both genders are equally considerate, I envy you and encourage you to help everyone equ…

I agree with most of the stuff I read here. Some women want a free meal, some women cheat, some women destroy careers, some women are violent, some women shy away from risk and responsibility. We just happened to luck into all the above. AWALT so GYOW. Any young guys lurking should learn from our mistakes.

I'm so sorry my friend, every sitcom and movie seems to have a scene where some (obligatory dorky) Dad is having a moment with their child. Almost every moment with my kid after the age of three was tainted by my meddling ex. At least our kids are healthy...shrug.

I have debated making a post about this. It's been fifteen years since family court and I still have what I can only describe as PTSD. They used to call it shell shock or battle fatigue and I don't really want to equate court for a bloody battlefield. I missed out on so much not having access to my kid, so much unnecessary ugliness and game playing I still have nightmares almost daily. There was no actual center-fire exchange but I'm still wounded. My kid is now old enough to drink but no kid in…

It's a legitimate quandary. A woman that can leave you completely drained of baby batter on a regular basis is a rare and treasured thing. Most of my relationships were satisfactory sexually, but a couple still call to me from the wrong side of Cuckooville. Naturally these days my tolerance for even normal lady lunacy is almost completely gone. Avoiding leeches and drama is much easier when you know you're the prize.

Exactly, I can escape to a young woman hopping around in underoos for a couple hours. Movies to me aren't usually something serious, if the character development and cinematography are decent I'll watch anything that doesn't preach. As soon as either gender starts to inform me of something that's all spin no perspective I lose interest. Larson went full shrill and saved me from even watching Captain Marvel when it's undoubtedly on Netflix in three months.

Many of the people lurking and posting here are former simps. I personally never went full simposium but I sure have paid a high price for some less than pristine physical attention from women in the past. You can't entirely blame fellas for believing what everyone in their life is telling them. That being said, I do not under any circumstances forgive a man for sacrificing another dude in hopes of a whiff. I am guilty of some stupid shit but I never did that crap.

Unless you just completely don't know how to wrench you should probably buy used for your first bike. I made it 433 days before dumping my R3 in some gravel on a soft shoulder. Luckily just some scratches on the fairing but I'd be really upset if I had a bunch of money invested in a bike. I purchased it brand new for $4,000 (USD). I was actually debating wrapping the fairing with MGTOW logos. Wait until after you've taken the course to buy, they should have a selection of bikes to try out.

Only male children are to be abused. How many of those corn holed choir boys were forced to attend church by Dad? I'm wagering under 5%. Yes, the persons of posterior plunging were priests but they never would have had their greasy bead twirling fingers anywhere near those boys if Dad could have just taken them fishing like he wanted to. (I sound like I was passed around like a joint at Coachella but my parents were thankfully too lazy to do the church thing.)

Even sweeter than the raspberry kiss I received from the red pill was coming to understand that nobody but nobody gives a crap what you do. Everyone is focused on their own lives and needs. You having a fancy car or a bad hair day might get a passing acknowledgement at best. Stop caring about what other people think and don't burn a single calorie for a woman.
