Unfortunately I understand how he feels. It is very hard co parenting especially when one party uses the kids as bargaining chip. Not being able to see your kids is very draining mentally. It is so hard. It doesn't matter how mentally sound you are, it breaks you. It cuts to your core. I feel so bad for this guy, his kids and his family. No one wins when things like this happen.

LMAO!!!! Not true in MN. I understand the laws are on the books but they've chosen not to enforce this.

You'd think kidnapping would be one of those they act on. It's the reason we have things like amber alerts. I think we are missing something from the story.

That makes much more sense. Yeah, I'm not sure how that custody stuff works across state lines but if she truly took the kids against a court order, it's kidnapping. I'd say since she crossed state lines, it's now a federal offense and a felony. Should be pretty easy to get the kids back.

What is the point of adding the pictures to the article? It's just dumb.

But then she would have sued him for cutting hair when he wasn't qualified to do so. There was no way out of it.

Considering sentences I've seen in the past, 10 years isn't half bad. I originally read the title as "10 days" and was outraged. I think this is a good step forward as far as prison time goes.

-"Lonnquist said she would agree to stop collecting child support from Atkins if he would agree to terminate his parental rights. Denver family law attorney Ron Litvak said Lonnquist’s suggestion is not a realistic option." This! He is not biologically the father but doesn't want the state to change his parental rights. What do you expect? You can't have it both ways.

Oh, it's right in the article. "Overall, women hired for jobs in technology, sales and marking were offered salaries that were 3% less than what men were offered, but at some companies the gender pay gap was as high as 30%, the study showed."

I'm with you on this one. I would see an issue if they were trying to force the use of "womankind".
