Great response...hadn't browsed this subreddit in a pretty long time but it's good to see posts like this.

Well sitting next to the bar on a date has an advantage because you're already pretty close to each other. Touching doesn't necessarily have to be an aggressive maneuver like a hand on her thigh. Start with a warm hug when you see her (don't tap her back like a 'sorry for your loss' kind of hug). Lightly hit her arm when she's joking. Gauge your actions on how she is reacting, how comfortable you are together, and how the date is progressing in general. Get close to her if possible, whisper some…

When you've been wired to think one way for so long in your life, it's kind of hard to re-wire that programming. It'll probably get easier for you as time goes back on especially if you stay in good shape but physical attraction really is just one step and your post kind of shows it. Next time you a cute girl approaches you at a club, just return the compliment "I think you're really cute too, I really like your [insert a genuine compliment based on something she clearly put effort into like her…

I don't think being a virgin at 19 is particularly abnormal. It might be a little later than average but definitely not terrible.

If his last text was on Sunday, you kinda have to send another follow up text to confirm especially if they haven't even decided on the activity..

Still a step up from Brunett's or Aristocrat though.

That was pretty unintentionally smooth haha.

Yeah I like the advice as a whole but just go for the kiss without saying all the extracurricular.

There used to be more advice posts than posts seeking advice. Now it's just all people asking what they should do on a first date or how to ask a specific girl out.

I've dated a few black girls and am an Asian guy. I'm a little bit taller and I grew up in a predominantly black area so it might be a bit different. I don't really have any good advice to give you except just remind yourself that she obviously thinks you're cute enough that she'd be interested in going out with you. Also, I'm sure you know this but not all black women want exclusively a masculine black man just like not all Asian guys want a petite Asian girl.

I really appreciate the effort and length in this post especially when 90% of posts in this sub are just "I really like this girl, how do I ask her out?" However, there's a lot of generalizations and there really isn't any actual advice. Plenty of women are looking just for a pure hookup and most men (especially when you get older) care more than just looks.

It's like being unemployed kind of. If you've been unemployed for over 6 months, it's a bit of a red flag.

Use your best judgment on the dating in the workplace. Check to see what the rules are and evaluate how it'd effect your career if you did date her. It seems like it's not a big deal if you have married co-workers. There is nothing wrong with being fixated on one girl, that's not 'oneitis', that's just normal human emotion. The problem with a lot of guys is when they fixate on a girl that's clearly not reciprocating or they don't take any action to ask the girl out.

You appear not needy by not being needy. If she's busy and slow at responding, there is literally nothing you can do about it except to find other women. Either that or she is losing interest, in which you're not going to rekindle that over text (has to be done in person). Manson talks about setting boundaries as a means of maintaining healthy distances in a very established relationship source.

Go to first date venue for me is usually after work happy hour at a bar unless she doesn't drink. Then I pick sushi, ice cream, coffee, or something light.

I think you don't know what that word means.

Thanks haha. Yeah I'd ask her if she'd want to meet up for drinks after work sometime this week/next week.

People are either on Tinder to hook up or just to get attention. If it's the latter, then you waste less time asking her to meet up. If it's the former, then she doesn't really want to just keep chatting with you about your day and your tastes in music or whatever for hours. Usually you want to suggest the meet up (especially using Tinder) after one or two flirtatious conversations.

Ask her to meet up.

I think this thread is one such example. I feel like a year or two ago this sub was full of people giving out FRs and advice, now it's just people posting threads asking about how to get with a specific girl.
/r/seduction05/05/16 09:27 PM
2

What is the point then?
/r/seduction04/05/16 07:06 PM

Just the tiniest bit of context or some effort put into the post here would help (age, what you're looking for, etc.) or a list of specific questions.
/r/seduction04/05/16 06:59 PM

I don't think you can or should even pull that from the study even. I really don't think it's a good idea to not have a single smiling picture on your Tinder profile to be honest. And the guy is right though, drawing conclusions from a study with 71 Japanese women applied universally is irresponsible.
/r/seduction28/10/15 07:59 PM

The title of the article is a horrible oversimplification. There are so many different factors too especially how nice your smile/teeth are.

Maybe cut out the line about 'you're officially my new girlfriend'. It's kind of hard to tell if it's a joke over messaging. But girls flake all the time on Tinder, that's just part of the game.
/r/seduction25/08/15 07:58 PM
4

I mean if you text a girl the night before asking her to dinner the next night and she says no, it's kind of understandable. That's a little short notice and if she's a social girl, she probably already has made plans. It's not flaky behavior at least in this situation. Suggest another time or just put the ball in her court. If she's not interested, then just shrug it off and move on. That's REAL true confidence because you'll be fine whatever her reaction is.
/r/seduction21/08/15 07:50 PM

This is the exact opposite of true confidence that he was talking about in his book.

She was definitely trying to fuck. I think you blew your chance.
/r/seduction21/08/15 05:22 PM

Exactly, so you know it's nothing wrong with your looks or anything superficial. You can control all the inner stuff, you can't do much to grow 3 inches or change your face.

Suggest drinks after she gets her phone fixed.

You've seen dudes uglier than you with attractive women before right? If they can get laid, why can't you? It helps to be tall, attractive, muscular, etc. but that definitely doesn't mean it's impossible. Get in the gym, get in shape, get some nice clothes, fake some confidence if you have to, and just talk to women. There's not much more to it.
/r/seduction20/08/15 07:50 PM

I know a lot of people on this sub tend to devalue advice given from women but I think this is a very solid post and pretty good advice.

If she's a hot girl, why would she just approach you instead of any of the other guys surrounding her. You have to take the initiative to approach her.
/r/seduction19/08/15 09:20 PM

If she likes you and still hangs out with you, she's definitely not annoyed by you.

For a first date, coffee and ice cream work pretty well. There's a lot of on campus activities too if you know there's an interest you share in common.

I agree 100%, seriously what's such a big deal about just waiting for a second date to have sex?

Yes I did, that's what my post basically says without all the snark.

Also just re-reading this now: You will likely deal with some ASD/LMR. Just keep escalating. Do not ask her to go to your room. Just lead her there. Pick her up if you can and carry her to your room. If she gives you a hard no at any point and pushes you away, you should stop. Most of the time though, you will get 'soft' no's. I just don't agree with this part one bit. If she gives you an outright 'no', that still means no. If a girl seems hesitant about wanting to sleep with you, picking her up…

Why would you just randomly walk into a liquor store without saying anything? Just have some stuff at your place.
/r/seduction18/08/15 06:35 PM

I don't think it's really that bad though. Honestly, most of the posts these days seem to just be asking for advice.

The subreddit has a bad reputation for two reasons. One is the somewhat cheesy lingo that has kind of subsided (negging, shit tests, HB8, beta/alpha, etc.) and the other reason is because many see aspects of this subreddit as manipulative of women.

I don't think you understand the definition of 'cockblock'.

You can do both, meet girls in real life and use online dating too.

I mean you two kissed and hung out until 5 in the morning. It wouldn't exactly be a message out of the blue.
/r/seduction27/07/15 09:54 PM

Do you live nearby her? Did you get her number at least? Send her a message saying something along the lines of "Hey this kslat3r from the music festival this weekend." Make some small talk, ask her if she had fun, blah blah and say something like "Well you seem like a cool girl, I'd like to see you again. Let's grab drinks for Happy Hour on Thursday".

What are the 18 asian stereotypes?

It could be a million things. I didn't read the initial FR but her text before the date sounded like she wasn't that into it anyways. It probably wasn't much you could do on the date to change her mind.

I mean playing with your phone and bad mouthing your other dates seem like generally bad ideas.

I don't even understand how the 'rich' part comes into play. There's no sign above your head that tells girls how much money you make when you walk into the club. Obviously, it helps to be able to actually buy one of the overpriced drinks at the bar but going to the club one night a week isn't really a deal breaker if you're not too indulgent and have a stable job. I'd definitely say looks and overall game are much more important.

Why would liking someone's facebook be relatable to stalking? I think the girl was just trying to chat with you and the fact it was 6 AM was just her opening.

Pretty good stuff for general conversation too.
