4	experienced or young wives: for those of you who married younger and were not as financially sound, what were your first years of marriage like, and what tips can you give? Not married yet but we got engaged at 21 while we were both still in college. We shared a dorm room and then moved in with my parents after we graduated a year later. We are very very lucky that my parents allow us to stay with them ( we financially contribute as well) and we will be able to purchase our first home next year.
