If you’re worried about her making more money than you what will happen when Chad Moneybags enters into her life?

Here’s a question: if he did this to someone you love instead of you - would you still sit around typing up a million justifications for why he did what he did and why you should do nothing about it?

OP don't get caught up in trying to be her BB. It's her job to shit test you for strength. Your job is to provide the strength and stay (become) attractive. Mastery of self before mastery over your relationship. Good luck on your interviews.

That sucks. Smart having a recorder. Like the ancient chinese proverb says: the faintest ink is better than the best memory.

I have cut out weed, alcohol, fapping, most junk food, and a good amount of caffeine. All at once; cold turkey. I was a wreck doing all of the above every day all day. The only thing I can do to cope now is to exercise, meditate, read, and take lots of cold showers. I am also throwing myself into improving my professional life - more resumes to better places and working on my side business. It's been close to 3 weeks now (yes yes small drop big bucket). I feel no urge to drink. I sometimes want …

No it will not. There are too many distractions out here in the "real world". A phone is a distraction. As is TV. As is any company outside of yourself. Even if you somehow manage to avoid people and TV and phone and internet, you still have to prepare food and be responsible for feeding yourself. Over there, everything is provided from a room to sleep in to prepared meals to eat to the actual structure to follow. Plus meditating with a large group of people has a noticeable effect versus going …

I've done this. I attended a 10 Day vipassana course last summer. Consists of going monk mode by abstaining from all alcohol, drugs, sexual activity, meat, and eating only 2 light meals a day. No eye contact, no outside contact, no phones, no TV, no computers, no speaking for 10 days straight. Men were separated from women. In addition to this, there are 3 required sitting group meditations per day each lasting 1 hour and a lecture at the end of each day. Completely free of charge with a 6 month…

That reminds me of Homer Simpson's advice to his kids: "trying is the first step toward failure..." Pick up your balls and stop seeking so much external validation. It comes from within.

I would imagine having some confidence and not defaulting to an unattractive victim mentality might help you out some. Fake it till you make it if you have to.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
