2	Men found on 'Woman Only' carriage "slapped" and "ordered to do sit-ups" Seems like both sides are being dicks. The male's family is taking advantage of their position and asking for an exorbitant dowry (though I don't see why this is illegal; it wouldn't be in the US, anyways). So, of course, the female's family responds by hiring criminals to kidnap the groom and brutalize him for several days. He couldn't feed himself; his lack of nutrition and illness were killing him. Their response: "We don't care; go ahead and die." The father may be in violation of the divorce ruling. Child support payments are frequently added on top of other expenses that are expected to be paid as needed. The poster mentioned a few: He does not pay for anything else. Car insurance, the car, gas, clothes, shoes, or anything else for our son (he is 16). It may be the case that he should be paying for these but simply doesn't because he knows it isn't cost-effective for his ex to take him to court to get them enforced.
