It’s horrible what happened to the guy but I’d much rather she be rehabilitated into society instead of becoming another repeat offender. And obviously what she did should never be forgiven but I’d hope after getting out she will change her way and become a functioning member of society.

She’s not getting out until March and she’s getting out early because she’s done work or education courses in the prison which grants her “good time” (time off sentence).

Abortion isn’t murder and the percent of people who will abort a baby based on its gender is close to 0. And if we’re talking worldwide it’s more common for female fetuses to be aborted due to families wanting to continue their family name or thinking males will be more successful.

If it was the opposite and it said something 1/4 homeless people are men and feminists said what about the 75% that is women. I would have the same reaction as I did here because the article might be specifically about male homelessness so the statistic would make sense in the context of the article.

Because I’m willing to give the journalist the benefit of the doubt and they weren’t just talking about homelessness in general and then all of a sudden added in women are homeless a quarter of the time and same with the other one. If someone linked the articles and it said otherwise I’d realize that they were being disingenuous towards male homelessness and the dangers they face as journalists.

It seems more like talking about the struggles woman have on the streets. Not really talking about how women are the most. Obviously similar things happen to men but I think the point of this particular article is about just homeless woman as they talk about a survey they took of homeless woman.
