It’s the same reason why mandatory conscription for men is unfair. Imagine someone else forcing you to put your body through physical, mental and career setbacks as well as risk your life. 16	Viral trends that are anti-men? On the surface the law is equal. Can I just point out that even on the surface the law is not equal? In countries like UK or Singapore, the legal definition of rape involves the perpetrator using a penis for penetration. This means women quite simply cannot be charged for rape, only sexual assault which carries a lesser sentence. 4	What are mens rights activists still fighting for? Actually, yes. Women have a stronger ingroup bias towards other women, whereas men don’t show this gender bias as much. It’s a minority for the population, but it could be a majority of people around you. Myself and many others have had experienced or known many men who have been assaulted or worse by women. It’s totally normal that victims might see all women or all men as a certain stereotype. It’s your own trauma to work through, so please do it at your own pace that’s comfortable. But some women generalise anecdotes to the entire population. It’s like saying “Women are liars”, or “Women are child abusers” or “Women are infant killers”. 3	Would you rather be temporarily stranded on an island with a bear, or with a woman who has a history of making false rape allegations? Doesn’t even need to be a woman who has a history, just look at how many women think all men are rapists, murderers or worse? No idea what you’d be accused of if you stranded alone with one.
