It was just something that came to mind since I personally feel like the term 'pick me girl' has a negative connotation that is not applicable according to you. Personally, my impression was more in line with that of urban dictionary's. As far as I understood it, it's a derogatory gendered term for women that suck up towards men. Really just a suck up for men, where 'pick me' is synonymous with 'suck up' in the context of establishing relationships. Admittedly i don't engage with content or people where such terms are used, so I don't know how others, especially those that do engage, view it. 21	Does anyone feel like suicide is called selfish cause of misandry? Some of the replies in this thread are pretty sad to read. I think that the whole aspect of men suffering from mental illness not being taken as seriously by society as women often are definitely plays a role here, but I think that although related, this has more to do with ignorance towards mental health in general rather than misandry exactly.
