They basically own a monopoly that automatically rakes in cash and requires little maintenance to work. Somehow this guy thinks they're close to losing money.

In countries where medicine is socialized there's an increasing push by the private sector to fill state contracts which allows doctors to make a lot more money than they would in the public sector. Nevertheless medicine is a field that attracts more women than men. When it comes to 'fixing' vs. 'caretaking' men have a tendency to gravitate towards fixing and you can see that the men in medicine can in large part be found to be surgeons.

Atheism and feminism don't have anything to do with each other, though. In fact atheists communities have started to be infiltrated by feminists in the last couple of years, and there's been a push back against that.

I wouldn't conflate atheism with feminism, as seen by the big push back on feminist ideas trying to infiltrate atheist communities in the last couple of years. And given that statism can go anywhere from minarchism to totalitarianism it's not a useful word in this context.

Funded by the tax payers, but separate from the government is probably the best way to have a news organization that is somewhat impartial. It's far from perfect but seems to work pretty well for the BBC and Nordic countries that have their services modelled after BBC.

Safety net is not intended to just help the poor, although it definitely does that. It's also helpful for everyone else. It reduces crime, unhappiness and the need for the rich to isolate themselves with gated communities and such. Corporate system will exist either way. Historically women/minorities have been unfairly discriminated against when training/choosing them for jobs. Currently in some cases equal opportunity acts go overboard, but not that often, considering unfair discrimination still occurs. Not entirely reasonable if you're a typical worker and your wife doesn't work during your marriage but if you're a billionaire things may be just a tiny bit different. Granted they got married when they were both still students (in the medical field, I doubt she never worked).

About #9. The 2% difference between Hispanic and White women is negligible. IMO Not only is the difference negligible, when you look at the actual chart which this number is based on from 1995 in this 2001 CDC study (http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/ad/ad323.pdf figure 1 and table 4) they overlap each other constantly over the 20 year duration. The sample is 60 000 women but it's possible numbers might have changed since 1995.

For some reason you're associating women being allowed to vote with the issues of economic inequality which has resulted because of the rapidly advancing technology replacing well paid jobs with low paying service jobs which are purposefully kept low by the ever richer corporations. Overall, families with a working member account for 73 percent of all enrollments, amounting to two-thirds of all public benefit spending. This is why politics should be kept out of RP.

Yeah, especially in the case of the big tech companies they were all good students in an elite college and had a lot of credits to their name when they felt they had to drop out of college to start/grow their businesses.

Only source for this "fact" are some blogs, all with a copy-paste of the same misspelled sentences. Sounds to me like an urban legend unless you're willing to provide a source. Not saying this wouldn't be common advice from an NBA team to their players, but probably not something the league would publicly say.

I think your political stance is coloring your view. Women are liberal because it allows them to get away with more. That doesn't mean most people when confronted won't launch into ad hominem regardless of their political stance or that conservatism is about being logical (in fact conservatives have the most resistance to new facts that conflict with their old world view).
